for all of you guys and girls, with all the love we have: SPLITTING OF THE I

http://youtube.com/watch?v=_PbgszPgry0

this is what happens when 4 guys meet and figure out they can try hard and get something done. we'd like to say THANK YOU in advance for even just considering the idea to watch this video.

the SPLITTING OF THE I clip was totally self produced, just like the CIGARETTE SECRETS mini ep / demo... and while I'm starting to understand the dynamics of sound engineerings (after all, that's what i'm studying for), this video project was a total shot in the dark.

we feel the result is compelling and we'd love to have some feedback.

let us know what you think!

Just watched and commented...very nice, Max!

Tell me more about the process...what took so long to get it done?

max 03.06.2007 10:15 PM

Chout man, THANX A LOT...!!! the biggest part was the shooting of course, we spent around 17 days to get all of the scenes filmed. then we had a few names ready for the editing and i'm taking about big names, no shit. but all of them started having big amounts of shit on their plates ya know, and i was getting too busy with the mix of CIGARETTE SECRETS... not to mention the new studio, the school, the gigs to setup, and ordinary life as well.

time went fast when i finally said OK, fuck it all - i'll do it myself. i had in mind what i wanted it to be but the problem was the hardware... working with a stupid old pc and a mere windows movie maker... Sara helped me out in the process but it was awfully weird to stay behind this machine's HUGE rendering times...

it actually took around 32 hours of work to get it done - not counting the rendering hours... this is honestly all i could do.

That's really nice max! A 16/9 image ratio would have made it a bit more "movie-like" bu it's good nonetheless. thumbs up!
