i've got cure fever

okay, lately i've been listening to cure, the albums i have are pornography, kiss me kiss me kiss me and standing on the beach-singles.

which record next? i want the first one, but any other suggestions are welcome.

_slavo_ 03.01.2007 09:54 AM

Disintegration.

Savage Clone 03.01.2007 09:56 AM

Seventeen Seconds, Faith, Carnage Visors and Pornography are my favorites, with Pornography at the top of the heap.

Rob Instigator 03.01.2007 10:17 AM

disintegration

HEAD ON THE DOOR

the first one

_slavo_ 03.01.2007 10:20 AM

why everyone's so heavily into the early CDs? I prefer Disintegration or Wish much more to the early phase.

Savage Clone 03.01.2007 10:28 AM

I can really only take them up to The Head On The Door as an album band.
After that it's just some songs here and there.
Maybe it's my age, but their poppiness kind of gets to me in later years.
For some reason the pop style on The Walk/Japanese whispers doesn't bother me though, and I like The Top way more than most fans and critics seem to.

Rob Instigator 03.01.2007 10:39 AM

kiss me kiss me kiss me has song after wailing guitar song of freakouts

Savage Clone 03.01.2007 10:43 AM

The only song I still like from that album is The Snakepit. That one is killer, though.

I've been listening to the deluxe editions of Pornography and 17 Seconds lately. those are both such good albums.

Disintegration really is beautiful in it's own right, but doesn't rock me like those two do.

beyond good music, who else but Robert SMITHRA can save the world from MechaStreisand?

LifeDistortion 03.01.2007 02:15 PM

I think "Head on the Door" is a better album then "Disintergration", both are good though.

i went through a massive cure faze when i was younger. i used to really like the remix album and watched the singles video a lot too.

CHOUT 03.01.2007 03:25 PM

so you've got cure fever, and the only cure is the cure????

Inhuman 03.01.2007 03:30 PM

You make me feel like I am young again...

Faith, 17 Seconds and Disintegration.

CHOUT 03.01.2007 09:13 PM

Three Imaginary Boys is good, but the revised version called Boys Don't Cry adds singles and takes off a few of the lesser tracks is better overall to me.

But you already have the singles collection, so...

Pretty much any and all from the beginning to Kiss Me...are my favorites...I remember going to a midnite sale for my brother to buy Disintegration...never fully got into that one as much.

no tengo lengusta 03.02.2007 12:57 AM

every album up to disintegration

Pax Americana 03.02.2007 02:13 AM

I was listening to Boys Don't Cry today, so good.

nomowish 03.02.2007 02:30 AM

Is Disintegration considered a part of the Dream Pop genre?

Cantankerous 03.02.2007 02:40 AM

damn, i read it as Curve at first and got all excited.

i like them. but i like curve more.
