I'm going to the local record shop in about half an hour and really need someone to recommend me an album to buy.

Make it something recent, in a Sonic Youth, Sleater-Kinney, you know the kind of thing, style.

Anyway, I reccomend Deerhoof's new album.

Because I suddenly found £20, a friend's coming over and we're going into town. And I haven't been able to afford an album in absolutely ages.

Don't question me, just HELP me here.

Well, just to let you know, they'd sold out of the Deerhoof record so I got Ut's Griller instead. Such is life I suppose.

Griller's ace though, by the way.

I do this all the time! I resist the impulse buy at the supermarket so i can indulge my childish wants and desires whenever i visit an independant record shop
