it isnt mentioed here a lot but im sure theyre are many many admirers of peter griffin and co. ive just completed the 5th seris and i have to say, it kicks simpsons butt big time. one of the few shows which i laugh out loud at!!!! anyone else



add this to the novel im writing....for the last 2 years... yknow.. the novel... add a bit of tension... maybe a love angle for the last chaper.... yknow the novel youve been writing... yknow... priceless......

I used to love it. One of my favorite scenes is that breakfast machine on series 4 which just does all that random shit then shoots Peter. The first time I saw it I repeated it about a hundred times and me and my friends were in tears laughing. I guess we were stoned.

I bought Season 5 the other day and I had seen it all within 2 days. Funniest part is on the first episode of season 5, where it has bloopers from a Bin Laden video.

I tried to watch it but it just doesn't cut it.

I'm difficult.Very much so.

family guy will never live up to the simpsons. It was funny at one point, now it's just ridiculously offensive, bland, and overall, a huge ripoff of anything original.

not a good show at all, they took the simpson's template and destroyed it, and by that i mean use flashbacks like bad one liners instead of well placed gags

but don't take my word for it, take cartman's.......

I own Vol. 1. Damn good show. I seen an awwwesome episode Sunday where Chris joined a band and started listening to Marylin Manson. It was great

I'm a fan. Simpsons doesn't cut it any more. Family Guy fills the void somewhat. It's admittedly a bit hit and miss at times but overall it does have a high ratio of laugh out loud moments.
South Park is great too.

I like it but, contrary to what a lot of people seem to think, I prefer the earlier seasons.

American Dad was utterly gash though.

One episode, among only a few others, comes to mind as one of my favorites. If you will, imagine Stewey in front of the refridgerator: "Uhh, we got some soda, some purple stuff, ahh! sunny d all right!"

Why do I think it's funny?
I'm not to sure. Sunny d is pretty terrible.... It must be for nostalgic reasons. My grandmother always packs alot of sunny d. (meant, of course, to be taken in the best way possible)


The show, however, is, after a while, pretty annoying.

the only time it haqs made me laugh is when the guy says "i haven't been to california since i was with my other family" then he appears with charles manson and tels them "i've been invited to sharon tate's house for a party, now i'll take you if you promise me to behave".

but, the worst season of the simpsons is a thousand times better than the best season of family guy.

I dunno. I'd take the best few seasons of the Simpsons over the best of Family Guy but I'd take Family guy over the worst of the Simpsons. (That episode where they go to the UK and Tony Blair is in it....jeez, painful to watch)

Family Guy is funnier than The Simpsons is nowadays. But the first ten seasons of The Simpsons blow Family Guy out of the water. They were much more original, better written and better acted with less reliance on tiresome gags and shock-effect. Family Guy is really funny, but it will never be on the same level as The Simpsons.

could not be more true. Aqua Teen Hunger Force is the best show ever....and Im not even a stoner. Excluding the 4th season, the creativity of the show and the plot lines are simply great.

The Early Simpsons are the best, But Compare it to now Family guy is better.
