A friend of mine has it. He let me have a look at it but moved to Amsterdam before I finished it. There is supposed to be a paperback version being printed soon.

PAULYBEE2656 04.18.2008 12:04 PM

try this..

something heavy and punky from d.c. (dublin city)!!!

the band i was in about 10 years ago shared a rehearsal room with these guys, hell of nice people and heavy out.. this is their only release, a very limited (250) white label 10 inch album... totally gone now and the band disbanded and niall went on to form the highly regarded instrumental postrock outfit the redneck manifesto..

so, i give you..

JACKBEAST- 10 INCH SINGLE (1997 GREYSLATE)

Please don't upload albums that are available in the shops on this thread, if you can. There is another thread appositely for that purpose. Thanks for what you have all posted above. I need to find the time to listen to some of it.

Florya 04.21.2008 05:08 AM

I try not to. Which upload are you referring to?

Wolf Eyes & Andrew WK - Fortune Dove EP (2000)

Hi folks. Sorry for the massive break in posting. I moved to London a few weeks back and had trouble getting my internet connected (deja vu), and what with having a new job it looks like i'm not going to have quite as much spare time as I used to to post on here. So i'll try my best to stick up exciting stuff every now and then, but don't expect it to be as regular as it used to be!

Today's mp3s come from Wolf Eyes and Andrew WK. It's a little known fact that a few years before his major label debut I Get Wet, Andrew WK was releasing tracks on noise labels like Bulb and playing shows with artists like To Live And Shave In LA, Wolf Eyes and others of their ilk. Indeed many live reviews from the late 90s/early 2000s on Blastitude often mention him as a highly charged supporting act on many noise bills. Now that he's expanding his activity into session work and production (working with Sightings, Current 93, Baby Dee), I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the early part of his career. The four tracks on this EP are from a split 12". Side one, the first three tracks, is credited to Wolf Eyes. Side two is just one song, credited to Wolf Eyes remixed by AWK, but is quite clearly just Andrew himself with a self penned tribute to the act he shares the release with. It rulez.

Wolf Eyes - 01 Fortune Dove
Wolf Eyes - 02 Skull and Bone
Wolf Eyes - 03 My Recipe is Lust
Wolf Eyes w/ Andrew WK - 04 Wolf Eyes Rules

My Bloody Valentine - Sugar

This appeared on a French music magazine called Les Inrockuptibles' free cd and it is an outtake of the 'Glider' EP.

MANY thank you's sarramkrop! & thanks for not using Rapidshare, every time I try downloading from there, they give a confirmation code that is always too long to be correct.

when you type the code they only want the letters/numbers with cats or dogs on, it is sometimes very difficult to tell which ones are correct.

thanks for the Wolf Eyes and Andrew WK sarramkrop, i will see if there is anything i can upload to keep the cool tunes flowing

PAULYBEE2656 04.25.2008 04:08 PM

man i dont get peoples problem with rapidshare. it works quicker and more reliable than any other uploading thing.yeah i know the free user waiting thing is a pain but the links are valid for over 3 months laying idle.......

anyhoo... thanks for all the stuff guys!
