I had no idea they were still a going concern. Nice to hear.
I'd love to see them some time.

Savage Clone 02.13.2007 01:31 PM

I saw them about 3 years ago and they are still great!

Glice 02.13.2007 03:11 PM

I saw them in... er... 2001 or so... and I wasn't terribly impressed. There was another band of artschool types doing something unbelievably artschool in the room adjacent that I enjoyed a great deal more. Recommend me something that'll change my mind, TGoS fans.

i saw them couple of years ago... they were great. as for the records, i prefer the earliest records when they had different names: pärson sound, international harvester and harvester. the best TGS-record is probably gärdet live from 1970.

That's an outstanding collection...... really well put together. I think my favorite Swedish act of the era is Trettiargia Kriget, the first few records are outstanding!! Really like the Baby Grandmothers track from the Forge Your Own Chains comp too, but can't find that album anywhere.......

Baby G's was a surprisingly solid, excellent heavy psych improv double LP, highly encouraged
