So what should we do?

i was thinking about starting a thread where we could exchange boots by different non-sy bands but i wanted to ask you first how should we do it. shall we:

a) upload stuff ysi/rapidshare/badongo style into the board
or
b) do it by pm/mail/email

anyway we should decide, i think it would be cool that, even if you can't or don't want upload stuff but would like to trade thru mailing, you could post your requests so people can get in touch with each other for the trades.

so how's it going to be?

I'm digging the upload it it to the board.

However, I hate how YSI expires so quickly.

if you go to ftp.spacelessjam.com you can upload your stuff by dragging and dropping into the music folder. id like to keep it organized so put it in the artist folder.

do this in either IE or Windows Explorer (my computer) you could also use an FTP client like WS_FTP. Natively firefox does not allow you to upload files, you can get the extension FTPfox.

then goto http://www.spacelessjam/files/music/ and it should be there. link to it and it will be freely downloadable.

Requests:

live Neutral Milk Hotel/Jeff Mangum.
live Polvo
and live Grateful Dead. I know there are literally millions of bootlegs from them, but I don't want to tackle all of it. If someone could just recommend some live material it'd be great. I've been really into their studio stuff but heard they were better live

The Dead

Check out the Grateful Dead Movie Soundtrack....it's 5 discs and a great start. It was recorded in 1974 and is considered by many to be their best tour ever:D
