Our sixth installment of our festival highlighting the Minneapolis/St Paul underground is happening again this year at the posh Ritz Theater in Minneapolis. The fest has only gotten better with each year, and we're very excited about this year's lineup.

They rule so hard that they have a new LP/CD coming out on SKIN GRAFT and will be on tour during the festival.

I feel very fortunate to live here at this time and to know these fine musicians who will play at events dreamed up by me and my friends.
What a weekend.

i wanted to go real bad. it was fairly cheap too for all the good music and location and so on.

but then i got lost walking around lake harriet.

Happens every year; send us a friend request. myspace is /heliotropefestival. You'll stay in the loop. Considering how expensive it is to put this on, we try to make it as cheap as possible. 26 bands for 20 bucks; not too shabby. And an all ages venue where people can still get drinks is pretty nice. Seriously though, check these bands out if they play someplace you can get in!
