Jesus fuck I love this band. I was so hype to see thjem perform on Dave. I saw them about 4 mo nths ago play here in Houston and it was one of the best damn shows ever.

when they finished playing letterman walked over (he loves when bands ROCK OUT! he hates the pussy bands. for an old guy it is funny that his fave band is Foo Fighters) and he shook hands with them and told the singer "Yeah! That's all you need! Isn't that right? How's Brooklyn? That was great!"

the indie shit is boring, TV on the Radio fricking rocks. Check out Desperate Babes, Bloodthirsty Youth. A seriously rocking rocking album. TV on the Radio is one of the few bands with incredibly awesome vocals between Tunde and Kyp.

I've been to those indie shit concerts (modest mouse) and I really felt like I wasted my money. Seeing TVOTR live videos on youtube, you can really feel the energy without being there. That really impresses me.

They toured with Bauhaus and NIN this summer. Unfortunately Pittsburgh got Peaches instead of TVOTR. I still wanted to see Bauhaus, but I couldn't justify paying 50 dollars to see just an opening band.

I want to see them live sooooo bad.

Just make a road trip and go to philly or NYC. It'll be worth it.

good thing i don't care whether bands are scene or not, all i know is if they rock or not; tv on the radio rock, i don't care who their fanbase are.

i caught the last part of their performance and it seemed intense as hell, very passionate performers!! i loved how tunde made the "so so" hand gesture when letterman asked them how brooklyn was.

i also love how letterman cracked about anybody in the crowd needing a ride to brooklyn from tvotr.

I agree. Being into a band is about the relationship between you and the band's music, not about you and the band's fans or the scene that pitchfork might lump them into.

TV OTR put on such an amazing show. Just wonderful rock, original melodies, original vocals, lyrics that are smart and rocking at the same time, great singing, fucking amazing ROCK!
