I like the one where they don't sing any songs or play any instruments.

my favorite is III, it works so well. Even though it has lame see (jason's), it's what makes it work so well. I'd sya then it goes down like this... III smash yr head on the punk rock freed weed bakesale bubble n scrape the sebadoh harmacy (thos emiddle three are to place really) |
I've liked certain songs, but never have gotten into one specific album.
Ocean is my favorite Sebadoh song, damn catchy tune. |
III
Freed Weed Bubble & Scrape Really, I love em all up to and including Bakesale. After that, there's some shining moments but in all, "meh"... |
yea, harmacy and the 'doh just kinda blow
|
harmacy RULES! BLAST IT!
THE SEBADOH RULES TOOO!!! BLAST IT ON VINYL! |
does anyone know when III actually comes out? Nowhere has it or knows.
|
it will be rereleased next week
april 11 in the us to be more specific. (i think it's april 10 worldwide) as for favorite, i have III and i really can't get into it much. not really my cup of tea so far |
thanks!
it's take a little time for some of it to sink in. LIke i used to skip around a lot, now i only skip jason's if that |
Bakesale is an incredible album. Careful, Not a friend, Drama mine and Got it are probably the best songs on the album

You forgot about a little song called Skull. |

i agree with that |
"Harmacy" and "The Sebadoh" have some decent songs, but I don't think they're anything special, particularly in comparison to the earlier work (in my book anyways...)

and license to confuse and mystery man ... well the 4-track version of mystery man on the 4 song ep. which is actually 10 songs long and awesome. Anyone want it? I'm charitable right now. |
yeah, i'd have to say Bakesale. Except for Bob Fey's tune (sorry Bob), i'ts great straight thru. Love that one. I played the hell out of it at the time so i can only play it occassionally now. i guess i o'd on it. but nevertheless a great record and special kudos to jason. his tunes are right up their with lou's.
|
III>Smash yr head on the punk rock>Bubble & Scrape>everything else=yawn.
Anyone go to the myspace Sebadoh site that Eric Gaffney runs? Pretty interesting. Eric Gaffney's Solo > recent Sebadoh material Things never were the same when Gaffney left. |
yeah, i like those too. bakesale, to me tho, is their last good one. then everything else is yawn.
