Just out of curiosity how did u find out if u hate them?

Here's a list of some of the things that were stolen

Guitars:
1959 Fender Jazzmaster SN# 38927.
-decal coming off. cracked headstock at top near low E peg.
color black with purple/bluish sparkle coming through. adonized pick guard gold metal. tuneomatic bridge gold, tuning pegs gold.

1961-3 Fender Jazzmaster SN# 62012.
-purple sparkle, black pickup covers. headstock repaired, a whole new piece of wood was glued on for the top part of the headstock under the tuners and up a 1/2" , along the whole top of the headstock. gold tuneomatic bridge, gold tuners

1964-5 Fender Jazzmaster SN# L21581.
-orange, white pearl pickguard, stickers we're all over it, original tuners.

Fender Purple Jazzmaster new SN# R074329.
-purple sparkle with matching headstock gold adonized guard tuneomatic bridge.

Rory Gallagher Stratocaster new SN# R25507.
-has a big gold grover tuning peg on low E

Rickenbacker 197? Fireglo Bass SN# 4001.
-checker-board binding.

B.C. Rich Warlock Bass SN# 4242413

because they only require like.. half a gtr to make them sound pleasing. although i saw a clip of u2's gtrs.. they got alot. and different amps too. so, someone burglarize those rich fucks. then donate it to aids research, so bono will shut his fucking trap.

i wonder why they don't hire some security-man-with-shotgun to actually sleep into the trailer.i bet noone would risk their life to get stuff from there.and it must not be "so" pricey...or is it?

I was thinking the exact same thing. You never hear about crappy bands getting their equipment stolen? It's always good bands that get their shit stolen. SY and now Dino Jr? There's a serial stealer on the loose and we need to catch this motherfucker.

i actually prefer that guitar all ripped up.

it's a shame about the sparkly one with the gold pickguard, because it was neat.

FUCK! I hope the tour isn't cancelled... They're the main reason I'm going to Osheaga next to Sonic Youth. And I payed $90.00 for the ticket. Now watch they give K-OS an extended set because dinosaur's not playing...

I think you will be ok because they are going through and playing their show tonight. They're just salvaging whatever gear they can but J is really gonna miss his custom made pedal box, hopefully he can find some good pedals before the show but this must really suck for them

I saw J playing one of stolen jazzmasters two months ago and now its gone. thats so sad.

It was stolen from outside the hotel while they slept. The moral of the story is that a) you don't stay in shitty neighborhoods and/or b) you get a bigger fucking lock.

The show tonight in New Haven was still very good. Lou played his giant sled-like Fender Thunderbird bass, which his friend Zeke brought down from his parents' place in Westfield. It definitely had a different sound to it (or so I thought) -- a lot less distortion & sustain, not as much of a high-end. Lou wasn't all that broken up about it, actually. J was mostly OK ("stoic" -- imagine that ;) ). His wife Louisa was there when it happened so she helped him deal. They drove back to Amherst to get more gear. You could tell he didn't have his usual arsenal of effects but he was still as God-like as ever.

i does suck, its totally shitty and i would'nt wish it on any band, but i'm not a fan so its doesnt bother me. now when the yoof got their stuff nicked i was well pissed off for them

I just heard about this! That sucks soooo bad! I'm going to see them tonight in Buffalo. I just hope that the lack of their usual gear doesn't effect their performance too much. Man, I hate hearing about shit like this, people that do this really piss me off.

Don't worry in Buffalo.Be prepared to have your head ripped off by this band.Last night in New Haven was immense soundage.They've never sounded better.

Wow. That was a totally amazing show. They fucking tore the roof off, borrowed gear be damned, they were still just awesome.

Saw them last week; only played the Wagon from non-first three albums. I always liked Bug. Must see live if you get a chance.
