Europeans - please help
 

Hi Sonic Youth Gossip.

I have a friend - Skjolbrot - who's looking to book a European tour. If you can be ANY help with this at all, please get in touch (here or by PM).

Essentially, this doesn't have to mean that you put on gigs - if you can be a footsoldier/ put him in touch with venues/ translate for him, that'd be great. He's not worried about where he plays, so if you'd like to see some fantastic music in, say, Bratislava, don't be afraid to get in touch because you're a little way away from central Europe.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

A4 club in Bratislava might be pretty happy to give him a try. I'll find out and will let you know.

I could kiss you all, except they haven't invented a way of doing that through the internet. Rest assured as soon as they do I'll be kissing you (shortly before getting arrested on an 'unrelated matter', obviously)

If he's playing in Scotland I could probably help out.

Unfortunately, I'm not so well-connected in Budapest. BUT, I would suggest maybe Trafo, which is a contemporary art space. Swans is playing there sometime in April. He could also try A38, which is a big boat that sits on the Danube. Hope that helps!
