yeah, he's still quite prolific, though I haven't really heard a full album of his since like 2005. Anyway, it's cool that he's still trying. I guess. Though I dont think any of it has been all that relevant since like "Drop It Like It's Hot," which anyone who's in the know, knows was actually a Lil Wayne ripoff from BEFORE people listened to Lil Wayne outside of the South.

Bit of a strange one, this. Until now, the city of Den Haag has refused to give any comments on this, other than that brief press statement about maintaining the "open and friendly character" . That makes me nearly 100% sure that they're affraid of riots/hooligans.

Last summer a free beach party in Hoek van Holland (near Rotterdam and Den Haag) ended in mass-riots instigated by football hooligans, which caused a massive chaos and left one person dead. Ever since then a lot of free events especially in Rotterdam (festivals, street dance parade) have either been banned completely or been subjected to insane security measurements.

Parkpop is a free event and attracts crowds up to 400,000 people. I reckon police must've gotten some info about hooligans planning riots or whatever, which spoils everything for the rest of the people. Cunts.

The mayor of the Hague has given a further statement about Snoop Dogg being banned. He said the city had information about "rivaling groups" planning to disrupt his show. Rivaling groups is generally a euphemism for football hooligans. Parkpop is an open, free-access festival with no pre-entry checks, etc so they think it's too much of a security risk.
