Erase Errata

These chicks are like my favorite band right now. Other Animals Are #1 is such a delicious album. Any other fans?

I don't know too much about them but i always like what i hear. They sure have an odd take at whatever it is that they are trying to do.I need to explore this band a bit more.

HaydenAsche 07.03.2006 02:45 PM

Get Other Animals.

porkmarras 07.03.2006 02:46 PM

Is it their last one?I have a cdr worth of their stuff but all the tracks come from different albums probably.

HaydenAsche 07.03.2006 02:47 PM

porkmarras 07.03.2006 02:48 PM

nicfit 07.03.2006 03:20 PM

love them.
did they release the third album?

HaydenAsche 07.03.2006 03:21 PM

Comes out in July. I have it pre-ordered.

Everyneurotic 07.03.2006 03:28 PM

anyone heard the night life yet?

i got other animals first and didn't like it at first, then got at crystal palace, dug that more, went back to other animals and rocked my world.

i still can't make up my mind about the new one.

HaydenAsche 07.03.2006 03:29 PM

I haven't heard it yet. I'm looking forward to it.

PAULYBEE2656 07.03.2006 03:39 PM

love em. totally rock my boat!

hey hayden, do you like numbers. im at the mo decideing which is better, numbers or eerrata

krastian 07.03.2006 03:46 PM

I saw them live and really liked them....haven't really listened to their albums much though. I might give em' another wisten.

HaydenAsche 07.03.2006 04:12 PM

I've heard alot about numbers. I'm gonna order their split with Erase Errata. I still haven't listened to them.

whorefrost 07.03.2006 04:13 PM

totally dig them. saw them live, twice in glasgow, once in amsterdam, and once at atp. the amsterdam gig, upstairs at the paradiso, was phenomenal. at atp, kim joined them onstage for some anxious rats action. i think i prefer other animals slightly more to at crystal palace but both are awesome. curious to hear their new stuff.. don't they have a dude on vocals now or something? didn't sara or jenny leave? who left?

HaydenAsche 07.03.2006 04:20 PM

Sara I think?

whorefrost 07.03.2006 04:30 PM

yeah, i think sara... she was the guitarist right? i'm worried they might suck with a different guitarist...

whorefrost 07.03.2006 04:31 PM

anyone else got the SY/Erase Errata split 7"? it's got an EE track called glitter plus a track by SY entitled Mariah Carey and the Arthur Doyle Handcream (that was retitled for inclusion on Sonic Nurse)

HaydenAsche 07.03.2006 04:32 PM

It was Sara. I just checked. I think that Jenny just picked up the guitar.

HaydenAsche 07.03.2006 04:33 PM

I just bought that 7" from a fellow boardie. It should get here this week. Both are really good tracks.

RdTv 07.03.2006 04:37 PM

I have other animals and it took a while for me to like it , but I've jamming out it recently.....

I'd be interested in hearing their stuff. Sonic Youth's playing with them in Montreal this tour so I'd like to hear them before the show

drrrtyboots 07.04.2006 02:29 AM

I like At Crystal Place a little bit better than Other Animals are #1, but their live show is sick. I saw them at knitting factory like a week and a half ago, real short set but they fucking killed, so much energy.

_slavo_ 07.04.2006 06:10 AM

sara was cute....seen them live in 2002 (opening for SY)

TheMadcapLaughs 07.09.2006 02:12 AM

thanks for the download, even though it wasn't for me, sounds cool

Trasher02 07.09.2006 02:21 AM

Erase Errata is a great band but unfortunately I can't seem to find any records near...
Same story every time...

atsonicpark 07.09.2006 07:39 AM

They rule. Great guitar.

nicfit 07.09.2006 12:26 PM

somewhere there's a video without the "old guitarist" video

jon boy 07.09.2006 12:28 PM

At Crystal palace is the shizzie, I love Ellie Erickson's bass lines, really inventive and so WITH the rhythm. I love playing along with her. I've yet to acquire Other Animals they don't have it an SAC NUT record stores I've frequented. I want Night Life, it sux that this is sposed to be their last album. After this I heard that Jenny is gonna be doing Paradise Island full time. SAD NE SS

that was the plan originally, but jenny changed her mind after playing in japan and decided to not disband erase errata, she must have thought it too much fun to stop

The 97th Hammer 07.10.2006 01:03 AM

Errase Errata are one of those bands whose record I meant to buy, but never got around to. I thought they'd dropped off the face of the earth, but obviously not. Does anyone have an opinion on the remix record they did "Dancing Machine"?

whorefrost 07.10.2006 05:10 AM

cool video, interesting to see them as a trio. i'd heard a rumour that some guy was coming in to take over guitar duties. i was really suprised at how good jenny is on guitar though.
also, rad wolf eyes video on that site as well

toxic johnny 07.10.2006 07:10 AM

Yeah it's cool to see some fairly recent live footage... I really enjoyed it and look forward to new material, live experiences etc... I saw Jenny do a solo set at the Her Noise opening night last year, where she was playing an acoustic guitar... so I knew she could play.

yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

val-holla-ing 07.12.2006 12:40 PM

at crystal place is such an awesome album! i got super bummed out b/c i missed their set at SXSW by about 10 minutes, especially since SXSW was supposed to be one of their last shows (there was a rumor going around that they were breaking up after their next album comes out, but they had a change of heart, i think.)
