I guess I am the only one who thinks expanding a book that is composed of just 14 sentences and mostly pictures, which can be read by an 8 year old in about 10 minutes, into a 90+ minute movie is just asking for ridiculous amounts of extrapolation?
My gut feeling is massive suck ahead.

I honestly think it'll be good. I've heard some reviewers call it "art house". While, obviously, it won't be some Godard masterpiece or something, I like when a little bit of artsy-fartsiness gets caught up in the mainstream. Spike Jonze is a pretty decent director so yeah.

yawn. I liked the book when I was little, but this looks like such shitty hipster fodder that I wouldn't want it spoil my childhood.
