Question for Ipod classic users
 

Yo dOOOOOOdz

a quick question that some of you might be able to answer.
Itunes doesn't find illustration ( cover art) for some of the albums i import.
That's obviously because they're not available on Itunes.
Now i thought i could easily solve the problem by re -importing the folder with a cover art picture in it but it doesn't work.
Still the annoying music note to replace cover art for albums that don't have available cover art.

There must be a way to maybe retag or rename a picture that will apply to the songs in the folder.

Does anyone get what i'm saying?
Any ideas.
I'm THE tidy person and i would like it so much if my i pod showed cover art for just any album i have i there.

in itunes select the album's songs, right click-> infos (dunno the exact word, it's "informazioni" in italian)->illustration->choose the pic->click ok->done.

just find the jpg on the net, highlight the songs you want and drag the jpg onto the box on the bottom left of iTunes that says "album art".

why am I telling you this? in a month, yr going to say that you never really had an iPod.

yeah both methods work. I find the drag 'n drop easier if you only need to change the artwork though.

It doesn't work that way at all. You copy a picture .. find it in google and right click, then copy it. Then you go to Get Info in itunes, go to the "Artwork" tab and then paste it into that space. Make sure the picture is big enough to work with cover flow if you use that feature.

I love itunes, no idea why people complain about it. I always strip the options down to the basics and it works like a charm.
And I've been using it for years on a daily basis, basically...mah!

I don't see what's so hard about using winamp and just dragging the folder to the very small simple player.

yeah, never let iTunes auto-assign shit. especially genres. fucking genres piss me off so bad, I turned them off.
