ok, so... i'm in new york and my hostel has been closed down because it is a fire hazard, so i have nowhere to stay and no money for a hotel and generally am pretty fucked, so if any of you know of a patch of floor that me and my friends could sleep on (we don't need much space or creature comforts) then i would be eternally grateful.

seriously. any help at all would be appreciated.

ok don't worry, we found somewhere to stay with one of the guys who works at music inn (4th st and 6th ave in manhatten) which is a crazy world music shop where they make weird instruments and comic books so all is good.

Did you always do things perfectly when you were a kid? I strongly doubt it.

I often find myself given as it is an easy way to draw a relationship between two ideas whilst writing.

My roommate (who is also my friend) is not uptight at all. If I lived alone, any risks or awkwardness involved in having complete strangers from the internet stay with me would fall entirely upon myself and, given (yeah baby) my mood, might be entirely inconsequential. But asking a friend to deal with those potential risks and awkwardness is totally uncouth and also potentially a strain on our living situations.

Clearly he did or else he wouldn't be where he is today: posting alongside me on this forum.

Sorry, I just think it's funny to ask for HELP on the SY forum. I'll try it the next time my car breaks down.
