I could probably make a case, I was actually thinking about Harry Pussy earlier (i like shaved way better) and how they're one of those bands where you can never have enough of thier recordings. Even when they would pretty much play the same song over and over in a different set, every time they play a song is a totally unique experience that can not be repeated, at thier worst they were thier best and vice versa. One of my all time favorites without a doubt. If I had to choose two bands to reporesent the two different sides of rock, conventional and destroyed say, itd prolly be Blue Oyster Cult and Harry Pussy.

I heard this while browsing in Kims and I couldn't figure out any reason why I needed it. Noise nostalgia.

Adris makes my heart flutter, and that aside, The Pussy are the most thrilling band i think ive ever heard, even if im not sure theyre the best. But fuck if the universe isnt better with more Harry Pussys than Dinosaur Jnrs. If you lot have been more aroused by J Mascis or T Moore then i pity you.

She's 18. I suspected she might like them because even though she's a very quiet girl, there something about the things she says that makes you think she'd be into weird shit.

Well yeah all my 17-19 year old friends hate the stuff, but that might be cause they have shit taste in music or stick to much to indierock

I know a lot of people who don't dig them at all, but I don't hold it against them.

''Finally got around to digitizing some cassettes and this one, 25 minutes of live Harry Pussy, while pretty grimy it is better than I recall it sounding at the time. I don't remember much of this show, I know the Hale Bopp Noise Ensemble opened up and I think the No Neck Blues Band played, too, but not positive on that. I am not sure if I recorded this inside of a messenger bag or if the sound guy (Art maybe?) let me set up Eric or Art's handheld deal by the soundboard. Regardless, it was recorded at the Balcony in Philly.

Anyways, I was and still am a huge mark for Harry Pussy and they were so over the top awesome to see.
