'Odelay!' re-issue liner notes
 

Apparently Thurston wrote some free-form poetry for the liner notes.
Does anyone want to share this?

Okay well I decided its too long to type up and post on here. Its more of an essay than a poem. Its not really a poem at all. Its a story about being in LA and hanging out with Beck around the time the album was originally recorded and released in 1996.

so now Thurston is officially tainted with the smear shit that is Beck. Oh well. Nothing is perfect in life.

at least thurston does not sing the same stupid song over and over and over and over and over.

man, rob, everytime I read a post where you complain about something/someone or talk about asses and so on I wonder if you get laid either too much or not enough. You seem to never be satisfied!

There's actually one of these on ebay right now.... They don't pop up that often... I've read there were two printings of this, one with expanded liner notes... Im not sure which version this is.

also...didn't thurston do something in one of beck's previous tour books or something? i'm not talking about the lollapalooza diaries btw......

Here's a quick impression... let's say the thread has something to do with Pavement.

I have this original tape... its' the "2nd Printing," though I've never seen any proof that there really was a "1st printing." Meaning,I always thought the expanded liner notes were a bit of a joke, and that the 1st printing was just like copies given out to close friends or something.
