Everyneurotic 07.02.2007 05:16 PM

demonrail666 07.02.2007 05:18 PM

If you like that, you'd probably quite like this then:

thanks for the suggestion, yo

demonrail666 07.02.2007 05:24 PM

They're not amazing or anything, but definitely pick up on the Pulp vibe.

Pulp.

Glice 07.03.2007 06:22 PM

Annoyingly brilliant band. Oh yes. Apart from the pre-His n' Hers era stuff.

This is Hardcore is brilliant, and they have universally great singles.

jimbrim 07.04.2007 12:25 PM

My mum fancies Jarvis.

cryptowonderdruginvogue 11.12.2007 11:43 PM

I am not Jesus, but i have the same initials

luxinterior 11.13.2007 12:11 AM

Pulp.

But really, my art teacher, another boy in my class, and myself all have an overwhelming love for Pulp. So guess what we get to listen to in class?

That's right.

Pulp.

h8kurdt 11.13.2007 01:53 AM

I keep meaning to buy an album by them. I actually saw one of their albums for sale at £3. I got Brian Eno's Another green world album instead.

ZEROpumpkins 11.13.2007 02:47 AM

Maybe I'll pick up different class then, considering everything i've been reccomended on this board I've liked. Oh, except Psychocandy.

sarramkrop 11.13.2007 04:28 AM

I was listening to Differend Class on Sunday. My favourite song on it is most definitely Live Bed Show. I love singing along to the lyrics while washing the dishes.

dressedindreams 11.13.2007 04:29 AM

Sunrise off of we love life maybe the greatest song of the 21st century.
The last bit defines the word "epic"

alyasa 11.13.2007 06:18 AM

Jarvis Cocker rules.
EDIT: This Is Hardcore is genius.

cryptowonderdruginvogue 11.13.2007 10:00 AM

Yeah, Jarvis is so awesome.
Saw him @ Coachella this year

the ikara cult 11.13.2007 09:15 PM

Pulp are one of those really weird bands whereby their early work is kinda forgettable and then they suddenly become extraordinary.
Im just glad that i eventually got to have a headoverheelsinlove time with someone when we both listened to Babies.

uhler 12.27.2007 08:23 PM

pulp has been constantly one of my favorite bands from the past 12 years. there's only a handful of bands that i still love since the mid 90's (black flag, radiohead, sonic youth, bad brains and air are the others).

different class is one of my favorite records ever.

ZEROpumpkins 12.27.2007 10:07 PM

I got His 'n' Hers the otherday and it's good listenin'

Their best.
Absolutely one of my favorite albums ever.

ZEROpumpkins 12.27.2007 11:51 PM

Oh really? Cool, I've gotta check out Different Class as well.

both are amazing. i like different class better, but every song on his n hers is a classic in my book.

ZEROpumpkins 12.28.2007 02:59 AM

They sound like The Cure IMO.

Torn Curtain 12.28.2007 08:51 AM

I don't know Pulp well, but I think they're undeservedly bashed just because they were lumped in the Brit-pop wagon (although they were subtler than that).

ZEROpumpkins 12.28.2007 11:34 PM

They certainly sound nothing like any Britpop i've heard.

demonrail666 12.30.2007 04:22 AM

And on the seventh day, Jarvis created Hoxton.

Everyneurotic 01.29.2008 01:43 PM

jarvis is coming to some dumbass hipster festival in mexico sponsored by marlboro.

if jarvis did a show by himself, i would totally go watch him.
