Anyone going to get one of those new iphones?
they are damn expensive, but they look amazing. I watched the whole 20 minute presentation about them on the apple site and was very impressed. people are already queueing up outside the manhattan store for one.
|

If it weren't only available on AT&T I might consider it. But it is too expensive considering I already have an ipod, a cell phone, and a computer.
Sure I'd like to have one, but I don't really want one. |
watching the thing made me want one, at the beginning i was like "what a waste of money" and by the end i was saying "i have to have one!"
|
I'll download the video and watch. My internet is way too slow to stream.
Either way, I know I won't get one. I'm not switching to AT&T. Maybe once they're available on Verizon and my ipod or phone breaks. |
id take one for free.
|
if it fell of the back of a lorry.

ha ha ha ha-- who's the little steve jobs clone? hilarious-- same type of clothes, glasses, etc. wtf? i like the idea, except that i want an organizer, something closer to a palm life drive. add that, and it's mine, provided i can use it on verizon. i've been asking for that product for 5 years, since the ipods came out. you have a 60GB thing, can't you put a calendar and documents-on-the-go?? instead they give us a portable entertainment center. anyway... CAPITALIST! |
maybe.

that guy had to be on vallium while giving that presentation
but really this is just another gadget for the coporate types to feel "one up" on us backwards, ignorant masses... my business major roommate is creaming for one |
it probably wont work after 1 year like most apple inventions.

nope, it's not "corporate". it's not a business product, as its utility is minimal. it's mainly a portable tv/stereo for the idle classes and their emulators. the blackberry is the corporate product par excellence. |
I already have the iPhone nano, lozers.
|
i fucking want a business version of that piece of shit. i could use a new PDA that talks. but i want it on verizoff. who has time to watch tv at work? i already waste enough time on this crap board.

it's a show off piece, bling, a pocket ferrari as you might tell, I'm betting it will cost a ridiculous amount |

like $699.00??????
|
$640 8 gig (or 6 gig?) tax included. That doesn't cover the price of the phone service.

yeah fools, i posted links that discuss the costs. $2K+ a year. no thanks. |
holy shit! then you drop it in the street and its broken forever!, or you get mugged.

Most people are going to be likely to get mugged. |
Last I heard, they have yet to announce the cost for services.
|
I think we can guess based off of AT&T's current services.

eh? what manner of journalist is this?? iPhone rate plans announced http://weblog.infoworld.com/enterpri..._rate_pla.html pple has posted a video guide to activating the iPhone, which resolves the last remaining mysteries related to Apple's first wireless mobile device. AT&T's iPhone rate plans will be $59.99, $79.99 and $99.99 for 450, 900 and 1350 daytime minutes, respectively. The $59.99 plan includes 5000 night and weekend minutes, while the other two plans come with unlimited night/weekend minutes. 200 SMS messages are standard with all plans. An additional $10/month will buy you 1500 SMS messages, and for $20/month, AT&T offers unlimited text messaging. An activation fee of $36.00 applies to all new accounts. All of the iPhone plans include unlimited data service for e-mail and Web browsing, along with unlimited use of "visual voice mail," which is Apple's on-phone GUI for voice mail retrieval. Relevant screens from the activation process follow. |
Speaking of Apple, anyone know how to fix this shit? I think it might be my video card...I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times, and it don't work.

that doesn't look good!
|
aint the video card, if it were, your whole screen would be fuxored.
wtf is that crap? waffles? |
You should ask Tokolosh Alex.
|
i suggest unplugging and plugging back in again. that always works for me.
|
thats a win-doze machine though, running iboobs.
reinstall maybe? |
if that doesn't work you could try unplugging then blowing into the sockets then plugging back in again.
