What musical instrument would you like to be able to play?
 

I expect this has been done before, but not recently.

Mine is piano. I'd love to be able to sit down and play Satie or something like that.

i got a keyboard off my Dad for xmas. i cant play it at all but i'm going to lessons to learn, i'm coming along very slloooooooooowwwwwwwwww ly.

I've never taken lessons. I took recorder (fipple!) lessons when I was about 8, but I could never remember where to put my fingers, and I couldn't read music anyway. Which somewhat reduces my chances of ever playing Satie.

Drums are easy, you just hit them with a stick!

(seriously though, playing drums properly is actually really hard and even then you have to get over the hurdle of finding somewhere to play them that isn't going to annoy loads of people. Drums are loud!)

Piano. When I was little I always wanted to be a blues pianist thanks to the albums my grandparents used to play. I was too much of a lazy beast to actually take lessons of course.

i meant i'd like to play the drums like him, of course. rock drums are good but jazz drums require superior skills.

I own a hammer dulcimer that I would really like to be able to use for musical purposes rather than just as an abstract coloration tool.
I would also really like to be able to play steel guitar well, and the vina holds a great deal of appeal for me as well.

if i could choose a drummer to play like it would be clyde stubblefield or bernard purdie. or bill ward. or jaki liebzeit. even though jazz drummers are "better" funky drummers are more fun.

Drums on the other hand would be perfect instrument for letting out the anger.

It's either the sitar or the trumpet. I got even more fascinated with the trumpet when i've found out that Sterling Morrison could play it and at one point The Velvet Underground were gonna have it played on their records.

Sax. I'm sure I could at least make noise with it, but I want one.
I want a lot more instruments.
