Dude. That thing about the permanent crazies is very true. I have to see that shit first hand. You're nuts when you come off of the stuff, but there is a good chance it will fuck you up forever.

I don't think I can do it, I have seen the studies, and I am just put off by this drug.

just like everything else with bad consequences, it feels good when you do it .
though the feeling good bit compared to the immeasurable amount of feeling bad you go through even when you do a bit of it is unquestionably outweighed though...... and the abusers, it really is a sad thing .

I'm betting the amphet of the 60's VU/Warhol scene is a slightly different chemical than the bathtub meth that circulates today. I've tried speed a couple times and its fucking fun. You just feel like you're at the top of your game and man nothing can stop you! But I've never crashed so hard, an agonizing hangover (and I didn't even use that much), so bad that I've never done it again. I took my hs psychology final on speed - finished in like 10 minutes and got an A! Addiction is always bad. <sarcasm on> I need to go to the gas station now and buy a soda. <sarcasm off>

If the drugs were legal and pure I suspect there would be fewer health problems. But dumb people doing drugs are always going to lead to stupid results.

If someone is bored can they find the difference between amphetamine and methampetamine? The Nazi Stormtroopers were all on speed during their blitzes...its a total dominator drug.

iv never gone crazy when on amphetamines, and your right about feeling tops. Walking back into the club from the car park was great, but i didnt parade around or try pick fights with goons, i think i talked lots drank lots and grinded my teeth lots.

Kegmama is right. It is the nastiest drug out there for mass consumption. It supposedly is not only the most addictive (harder to kick than even heroin) but also the most destructive (see those pix! wow!).

Meth is bad, bad, bad stuff.

Meth is shit. It destroys lives like no other drug I've seen. It also makes other drugs seem less harmful and gives people excuses to do them and say "Hey, man. Like, I don't smoke shit, though."

This is misleading. Speed can be lots of different drugs.

crystal meth is a crystallized synthesis of "speed" (if by speed you mean amphetamines).

It's bath tub speed.
