We're going up to York for the weekend, and I shall be having a beer or two with Jon Boy while we're there.

Im heading off to perth in 20 minutes for the long weekend.
For those who dont know, Perth is 600km from where i live and its a long boring 6 hour drive through bush.

Going to stay with my friend and his family at their holiday home and i should be meeting a girl down there, hopefully that all goes according to plan :)

There are plenty of girls around who would be delighted to have a guy driving through their bush for six hours.

hahah well unfortunetly the only bush im driving around in for 6 hours is mother earths and shes very old.

Is anyone doing anything over the Easter break that I can't find a smutty double-entendre for?

Dunno, I'm really broke and all I could afford is a walk in Venice or Verona or Treviso with some good red wine and friends. I'll probably end up spending a day in each of those cities visiting friends, chilling out, having "relaxing" fun.

going to meet with sonicl, take him to a rough pub and tell everyone he is a sex offender.

also going to a termite club night and probably some clubs.

im going to have a brunch at my grandmother's house with the rest of the family and the next day a birthday party for my boyfriend, his two twin sisters and his twin brother.

You mean he's one of quadruplets?

yep. then his parents go divorced, his mother got married again and they had another three daughters.. seven kids in the house.

Wow. Obviously he's never known any different, but I wonder if being one of quadruplets gives him a different outlook on life. It's hard to explain what I mean... Does having that close bond with three others make him view other people differently... maybe it's best to ignore me, I'm thinking out loud and not articulating myself very well.

hehe i don't know, i do know he's more used to noise and chaos than others :D when he came into our house for the first few times (we are with three children and one mother) the first things he said were 'wow.. it's quiet here!' while my mother was cooking and both my brothers were arguing.

breakfest with the family, lunch at my girls grandmothers house a la picnic style, and then im getting drunk

Yeah, when is Easter this year anyway?

Oh my God, the calendar says this Sunday. Well, fuck me. I guess dig out Patti Smith's Easter album then go out (if it's warm) and snort the topsoil off my mother's grave.

Well, I'm off now. Just in case I don't get to go online again later this evening, have a good weekend. And don't make yourselves sick eating too much choclate too quick.

Nowt special. I never do anything for Easter. It has never been a big thing in my family or among people I know. I don't have a job at the moment so I can't even reap the benefits of it being a bank holiday weekend. Balls to that.

I'm going to doss bigtime. Seeing Ma Melly on Saturday, otherwise am just gonna kick back and relax.

Family dinner with a bunch of guests.

Ham and lamb. My mom will probably ask me to say a prayer, and I think I'm actually gonna say one instead of doing the "don't put me on the spot mom" thing.

My friend and her mom are gonna come since they have no family. What is awkward is that I asked this girl out yesterday, and she said she just wants to be friends.

Ooh, and I'm going to a party saturday night, so I might be hung over.

So yeah. . .

I expect to take in the Kim and Thurston art shows, some of the Alumni shows at Tonic (i.e., White Out, Jah Division), maybe NNCK if they do their Easter show in the park, and I'll get a takeaway ham dinner from Vaselka Sunday, its huge and usually enough for 2-3 meals. Nothing religious but certainly spiritual...

I never cared much for Easter either. Bad memories of vomit-wax-cheapo chocolate, grainy sugar, ticky-tacky colors, overcooked eggs, patent leather black shoes, priests wearing purple.

I like the peeps marshmallows.

We're not doing anything Easter-related. We've pretty much cut candy out of our diet, and I don't miss it. Too much.

i'll be sleeping in at my aunt and uncle's house after a Lightning Bolt concert. then i'll probably drive around Portland with my friends and look at stuff.

I'm gonna look at stuff, too. I'll probably also listen to stuff and touch stuff. I might even do stuff.

i bought chocolate eggs today.. just wondering, do people in other countries that too? hiding chocolate eggs in the garden for the kids? here, we say the 'clocks from rome' bring them.

I thought it was the Easter Beagle in America?
