al shabbray 02.05.2007 10:06 AM

do they publish everything, or do you have to sent them demos...?
how much money do you get out of it?

jon boy 02.05.2007 10:08 AM

i think there are a few people that do on here.

Dead-Air 02.05.2007 10:34 AM

I have a frequently inactive vanity label called Kill Pop Tarts. We released the Dead Air Fresheners last release An Ulcer is a String of Pearls, and before that a compilation called Infamous Polywogs Vol. 2? (Vol. 1? was released on my friend's now defunct label Inlet Recordings). Going to do a Vol. 3? sometime or other, probably with another friend's label involved.

All CDR homejobs at this point.

Savage Clone 02.05.2007 10:58 AM

This is the label run by the bass player in a few of the bands I play in; I occasionally help with writing and promo activities.

Really? Kept that quiet. Any chance of older stuff going back into print (eg Skaters stuff and that Avarus disc?) :)

Florya 02.05.2007 11:33 AM

I have a label in the back of my shirt. It's called George. I don't think it's released anything yet.

Phlegmscope 02.05.2007 12:01 PM

What's the deal with that Tididii Tididii Tididiididii -comp? I remember it once being "available on request", but now it's just sold out.
it did contain some cch action, didn't it?

Savage Clone 02.05.2007 12:34 PM

avarus was reissued as part of the ruskeatimantti 2cd on tUMULt, as for the skaters... it's sold out. i've no idea if they want to reissue it, but i can only do a "pirate" copy if needed.

SCG: I loved that "Kekkonen" comp!

Everyneurotic 02.05.2007 09:04 PM

scg puts my one off cd-r label operation into shame; still, i run kiddieriot records, i've done one damned release and, when i get paid from work, i might do another one. same as the next time i get paid, and the next time and the next time...

cool, it's one of my faves too.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 02.06.2007 04:19 AM

I have a label but it isn't very professional. No website, not even a myspace set up, and only one release so far. I feel like it isn't real. Like I just wrote "Celibate Records" on all my CDs to make it real, but it isn't really an entity. Just a name to put on sometime to seem slightly more legit.

That ruskeatimantti 2cd is excellent and the track that was on your release is one of the best things on it.
Well done sir, my hat's off to you!

golden child 02.18.2007 10:46 PM

click my link below. not much now, killer things in the works. all tapes and cdrs right now, but have some lps planned for the next year.

atsonicpark 02.20.2007 01:48 PM

timtimtim 02.20.2007 07:54 PM
