I have side one sorted out but i'm thinking about what to put on side 2.

can you record onto a cassette from a turntable? is there even a way to do that?

There is even if you haven't got a compact system.what sort of tape deck do you have?

i don't have one. i need a new one. i was just curious as i was thinking of buying a new one expressly for this (and i also have a lot of tapes that i can't play...) and i want to record something from a 7" onto it.

Well,get a cheap mini hi-fi compact system(the sound is generally acceptable enough for most of them) because they don't cost much and i assume that in the USA they'd be rather cheaper than in here.

I've recorded everything and saved both sides as separate files on my pc.They're just waiting to be poured onto tape.

i can't be on this, i made a plea post on the other mixtape thread like the one cantanky did. so probably someday i'll be able to join the fun.

i wanted a tape deck and i got me a wicked awesome noise machine, though.

I'll probably be in on it, but I want to get my 7"s down from the attic before I do another one, and that involves borrowing a stepladder. If you let me know when you plan to close this one then I'll let you know for sure nearer the time.

I'll try posting mine today.It comes with a toothbrush and book about smooth butts.

Closing date for sending is 31st August. I'm figuring a round a month. Let me know if anybody thinks that's too slow.

Damn it!If i would have waited till wednesday i could have put some new Current 93 on my mixtape because my friend got it and he's gonna lend it to me.Arrrgghhh!!!I can't wait to hear it!!!

I hope more people take part in Round 2. C'mon folks, the time you guys spend on this forum could be used to make a tape. It really doesn't take THAT long. Lazy heffers.

If you do 90 minutes on a CD do some cassette sized artwork and send it to me, I'll put it on a tape if you want.

Nah spookie,it's just that the guy from the the only shop in my area that sell blank tapes had only 60.:rolleyes:

i'm hoping to participate this time... end of august should give me enough time to sort out a working cassette player.
