i still have the one i didn't send last time. i will most definitely send it this time. its dying to be heard by some poor unwitting soul.

When's the deadline?

The percentages given by the poll results currently add up to 250% - three options have 50% of the vote each, whilst one option - chips - has 100% of the vote. Oh dear.

I'm in. Seriously. I am this time.

Deadline is 30th September.

Anybody who wants to take part but can't record onto tape, send me a burned CD, (2 X 45 minutes long), some cassette-sized artwork and I'll transfer onto tape.

But you will get a tape in return, so make sure you have something to play a it on.

Round 2 tapes have been delayed slightly because of somebody pulling out at the last minute, meaning I have to adjust assignment accordingly.

I won't be tackless and start naminG naMes, but you Know who yoU are.

Thanks for the offer, but it's no trouble at all transferring to tape. Just press a button & leave the room.

I'm not getting into CD swapping as well. As I've said before, anybody is more than welcome to start a CD swap of their own. I'm only offering to transfer to tape so as not to exclude those technophobes among us who don't have the technology to record to tape.

Or you could perform a coup & try to defeat me (and it's Master of the Mix, not Mix Master) & claim my mix tape crown. But I don't fancy your chances, I've got God on my side.

And it kind of defeats the objective if any of the swaps are pre-ordained. The randomness of the swap is one aspect of the whole thing that people seem to like.

And it's no trouble at all if people pull out at the last minute or any other time, it's just a bit of fun after all.

I've got a bit of a lame clusterfuck here. Not sure if I should send the Mix Tape I've named #3 (for obvious reasons) or if I should send out a totally weird radio themed tape I made. The radio one wasn't meant to be weird, but it got more and more strange with every track...

Which one?

The radio one. Having finally sent my second tape last week, I'm thinking I'm going to go a little heavier with the third. Although I might wait and see what the second's recipient makes of it.

Yeah, I think I'll go with the radio one. I'm going to make extensive artwork for this one... Its fantastic.

My third tape will consist of a belch wich i have captured and put through the time stretching effect function of a sound editing program.

A side = Belch
B Side = Belch backwards

.......with satanic message for whoever has got the time to decipher it.

I'm making my tape tonight, so it looks like bad luck for some unlucky boardie.

Finished mine last night, cover art and all. Listening back through it, Side One is like being grabbed around the collar by a speed freak and Side Two is like some weird 70s flashback. I've created something quite odd, I think.
