Sandals - Crime or cool?
 

It's bloody hot today, so I've worn sandals to work - no socks, mind. My colleagues think this is funny.

So tell me, are sandals a crime, or they cool?

Nothing wrong with sandals, as long as you don't wear them with socks pulled up to you knees.

They've never appealed to me. Especially on guys who wear no socks, I'd let the girls without socks get away with it.

the birkenstock ones are okay. but not their clogs.

I think that flip flops are ok too, but the problem is that it's now trendy to wear them with a suit and tie. That looks so daft!

The most american thing I can think of is men who wear sandals with socks, awful, just awful.

I wear flip flops, but never with a suit or anything like that, just with my lounging around clothes that I wear when I go places.

Then again I have a naturally downtrodden look about me.
