what web browser do you use
I just upgraded to Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8 beta 2 release and am curious how it runs over time, so far it's new features are nice and catches up to other browsers with page recovery, and other new things
also Google released a new browser the last few days called Chrome which claims to be much faster then anything else, but doesn't seem as well protected by phishing and other malware i have used Firefox 2, and it's a great platform, a large improvement over the first, but i still prefer IE for whatever reason so what you viewing? now with MORE POLL |
ffox mostly
ie for netflix cos it only works on it on the mac, safari cos ffox is a bit crap, though safari is also kinda meh |
firefox...can't deal with internet explorer.
|
Firefox is my mainstay too. Haven't used IE in about 2 years.
|
I have to use IE 7 at work (I'd run firefox but my work software won't run on it).
I use safari at home. unless you have a mac, or just HAVE to use IE (like me), I highly suggest using Firefox (even better with no_script add-on). for the most part, using IE is like wearing a sign that says "rape me" while walking through Rapetown. |
ie because msn messenger doesn't allow me to check my mail otherwise.
but mostly firefox. |
Firefox mostly, IE for like, two sites
|

people who fall for phishing scams should stop clicking on everything they see. they get what they deserve imo. it's natural selection at work. besides, yr more likely to actually run into problems once you click if you are using something other than safari! |
explorer 8 and firefox 3 i think.
|
safari.

right. as much as Windows/IE though? yr best bet is to STOP FUCKING CLICKING EVERYTHING. as good a time as any: how stable is bootcamp, fishsticks? I need to install xp on mah mac. :( |
i hear it's pretty stable.
|
firefox
|
have you considered this, though?
i recommend it. i have used it to run windows on a linux machine and vice versa and it works fine. edit:float, fkhdslh |
hmmm that might work. but would it work better than bootcamp?
with bootcamp I'll be getting native os performance (with no emulation/virtualization) which will mean more frames-per-sec. I still feel dirty putting windows on my imac, but I'm fucked for games without it. |
