This is a really tough one for me, it's either better tomorrow or hard boiled.

hard boiled. i don't think i've seen better tomorrow, is that the war movie?

ABT is a trilogy about 2 brothers one a cop one a villain, story is similar in that way to hard boiled. CYF plays the villain's best friend, Mark, another villain only he's the cool, sharp shooter. He dies in the first one and then plays Mark's brother in the second one.

anyone seen god of gamblers? the music in that is so cheesy it's fantastic. It's basically raindrops keep fallin' on my head but tweaked just enough to avoid copyright problems.

God of Gamblers 2 is brilliant as well cus it's just so cheesy

Hard-Boiled is a ultra violence masterpiece amongst the hong kong action films.

surprised no-one mentioned the killer yet, though, I thought it was normally regarded as the benchmark for woo and CYF

I don't really like Chow Yun Fat, but I voted for God of Gamblers because it beings about nostalgic memories for me.

He's in something else I really like, but I can't remmber what it is. I'll have a look at home tonight - it's a film I've got, definitely.

My favorite is the Killer, because it was the first one that got to me, and it is juts so beautifully orchestrated violence.
Hard Boiled was magnificent in the killing department.
Crouching Tiger hidden Dragon was a fucking masterpiece. a fucking MASTERPIECE I TELLS YA!

god of gamblers is genius cheese, it is up there with jackie chans armour of god or the drunken boxing one, cant remember what that is called...

any way i reckon the killer is up there as one of my fav cyf films and replacement killers just cos mira sorvino looks damn fine in it and there is a good remix of that tricky track
