I am waiting for my (and nicfits) copy of sensational fix. this is going to be just fuckin great. 2 /"inches plus a 700+ pages graphics from my favourite band. holy shit.

SYRFox 01.16.2009 04:45 PM

sounds great! i must admit i had never heard of it before :/

al shabbray 01.16.2009 04:47 PM

somewhere here is a thread about it.
in october someone rom here pmed me about this, cause I should translate him the german ordering page. thats when I heard about it first, but there wasnt a definitive release date for it, then and I totally forget about it, hahaah

SYRFox 01.16.2009 04:57 PM

haha
sounds good anyway

-- for further reference: japanther is the definition of coolitude

al shabbray 01.17.2009 08:46 AM

hi there
I am in a bad bad mood.

SYRFox 01.17.2009 08:47 AM

why's so :/ (if it ain't personal of course)

al shabbray 01.17.2009 08:51 AM

ah.
multiple reasons.
I needed to go to university today, and its saturday. I filmed for hours this morning in freezing cold. the other 5 guys were in the same bad mood. it multiplied it somehow. now I am back home, and all the restweekend got to offer for me is a lot of university work. and I dont wanna...I want to do anyting but work at the moment.
my apartment looks like...es it looks like I havent done anything innit the last two weeks except coming home, eating, sleeping. I need to clean everything, which is another let down.
I know ther eisnt just one thing which could really considered a problem, but it just sucks big time at the moment.

greedrex 01.17.2009 08:55 AM

1) clean the flat from head to toe
2) make some nice strong coffee
3) work
4) be content
5) come back here to say you're happy with yrself
6) rep me

al shabbray 01.17.2009 09:02 AM

2) is in the making
6) I tried to but I have to spread first

the other things are just impossible in a depressive kind of way

greedrex 01.17.2009 09:04 AM

1) will improve the depressive state of mind, believe me.

al shabbray 01.17.2009 09:06 AM

yeah I know. thats what I will have to do first!
my plan now is to wait till the coffee is finished. sip it while surfing the web.
and then start to clean up this dirthole.
but I know that it will be nearimpossible to force creativity for university stuff

al shabbray 01.17.2009 09:20 AM

anybody can recommend me a nice full throttle soundtrack for cleaning up, which might build me up?

greedrex 01.17.2009 09:23 AM

the Women will cheer you up while washing the dishes.
I washed mine to the Foals this morning and i danced to it.
Crazy life, my man, crazy.

al shabbray 01.17.2009 09:24 AM

yeah the woman is a sure shot, and cant be listened too much
I should stop listening to the saddest of boards of canadas tracks. even if they are beautiful, but they definately no tracks to cheer you up

Rubin Steiner - Lo-Fi Nu Jazz Vol.2 if you want electro jazz
or Japanther - Dump The Body In Rikki Lake if you want rock

those two records make me smile

SYRFox 01.17.2009 09:26 AM

Or the new Animal Collective, of course

al shabbray 01.17.2009 09:28 AM

problem is:
I dont have any of these :)
which do you like the most of them?

SYRFox 01.17.2009 09:31 AM

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
It's perfect
But it's not really "full throttle" from beginning to start and it's sometimes sad (and sometimes happy and sometimes dancy and sometimes melancholic, etc), but it really gives me energy.

al shabbray 01.17.2009 10:00 AM

sounds like a pretty good record!
I should check it out, very soon.

SYRFox 01.17.2009 10:00 AM

you really should! it's fantastic

edit: (wah goddamnit, i answered the very same minute that you sent your message. i have too much energy)

█████████ 01.17.2009 11:40 AM

SYRFox 01.17.2009 11:41 AM

al shabbray 01.17.2009 03:09 PM

chillin' out to merriweather post pavilion's vibes, it's really such a great album
what about you?

[Sandbag] 01.17.2009 06:34 PM

hahaha... the effects in that pic looks amazing

i was listening to mpp earlier... i guess i like it.. it sounds like its full of noises, like if you were listening to the album in the woods or near some river or something... dunno.. it's hard to explain

and i got 'Pod' by the breeders some days ago
fucking great opening track.. so dark...

SYRFox 01.17.2009 06:41 PM

yeah, i get what you're saying about mpp and all those samples, i think it makes the album sound very alive. kind of like in the water curses ep actually, the water samples gave the whole disc a very special atmosphere

SYRFox 01.17.2009 06:42 PM

i'm off to bed now
have a good night / evening / morning / afternoon / lunch / whatever everyone :)

[Sandbag] 01.17.2009 06:44 PM

I have to work, but I will make as many breaks as posible of course

al shabbray 01.18.2009 03:48 PM

I am going to throw myself into the car, drive to the McClown get myself a strawberry milkshake and listen to some music LOUD while drivin around. I think that will cheer me up after this grey grey grey weekend. and I hope it will continue raining while doing that.

SYRFox 01.18.2009 04:10 PM

al shabbray 01.18.2009 05:00 PM

http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=YOhTZdYvF9U hear thisand you'll feel better

al shabbray 01.18.2009 05:04 PM

YAY.
thats the total opposite of what Ive listened while cruising around.
but it works on a brutal volume

I think clarks Body Riddle is still my favourite album of his so far. "ted" and "herr BArr" are so fuckin awesome

SYRFox 01.18.2009 05:19 PM

I guess Turning Dragon is my favorite. Body Riddle is fantastic (funny thing is that Herr Barr and Ted are also my favorite tracks) but I don't know, maybe it's because I've discovered Turning Dragon first but I REALLY like that album. Like in REALLY
