I dunno. It sounds less polished than any of their other albums, aside from 3 Dollar Bill Y'all, which is a good thing. Fred really tried to mature his lyrics, which turned out decent enough, but some parts are kinda lame. There's an obvious lack of DJ Lethal, which really hurts the album. John Otto is replaced by Sammy Siegler (from Gorilla Biscuits) on every track except for The Channel because he was struggling with his drug addiction, but it's more than obvious that Wes is back in the band. It sounds more like RATM or something than Limp Bizkit, honestly. It's a weird one. It's definitely their rawest, and angriest work since 3 Dollar Bill Y'all though. But then again, it really isn't anything that I'd say needs to be heard. I honestly prefer Results May Vary.

I have this album upstairs somewhere. Had it for years, never once listened to it. Any good? The cover always makes me think of Ween's Boognish, or that kid from Calvin and Hobbes, I don't know which is which.

Yeah, I like it. I could see it not appealing to everyone though.

One of those albums I often won't listen to at all for like 6 months, and then I'll put it on and just be like 'HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!' the whole way through, and then will put it away for ages again for some reason.

Yep ! Actually, it hasn't even been officially released yet but it has leaked so I listened to it and... well, yeah, it's good (since it's Belle & Sebastian, it has to be) but it's their weakest I've heard so far (I need to listen to it more, of course). There's a song with Norah Jones on the album and I find her voice quite irritating... On the other hand, the song with Carey Mulligan ("Write About Love") is really good !

holding up incredibly well. this album is fantastic! his best solo effort since in a LONG time. perhaps better than "freedom" and "harvest moon."
