I sold my Blues Driver. Getting a Polyphase and either a Catalinbread Semaphore Tremolo or a EHX Microsynth. Although I really want a tubezipper too.

Well, I like the sound I could get with a solid state and a blues driver- but it sucks with my bassman- sounds like ass, I'd rather just turn the preamp up on my bassman and play harder for the same effect.

i tried both and the Mxr is sounds better imo, allthough i usually prefer Ehx pedals

its all very well having lots of effects and whatnot but if you still just play riff rock then i dont see the point. do a lot of people get effects units because everyone else does? i want to see people use them in an interesting way and not just nirvana riffs.

for example: sax -> Frequenzy Analyzer - Memory Man (turning the knobs while someone playes) -> amp.....
