Ya I didn't think they allowed that stuff on there. That's why I thought it was a joke.

"On July 18, 1993, Rage Against the Machine protested against the PMRC at Lollapalooza III by standing naked onstage with duct tape covering their mouths and the letters PMRC on their chests."

Kinda interesting, though. I like Zack.

Actually Pearl Jam was on a much different bandwagon...

Pearl Jam was much more on the Black Sabbath/Zeppelin tip...and Nirvana was much more on the Iggy and the Stooges/Pixies tip.

Well then, good girl. I was more reffering to the way you were acting in your post(s). Then arguing with Math that they did change music, you were more the stepping stone - you paved the way for that debate. I agree, I did misinterpreted you, but you misinterpreted me by calling me a 'dumb son of a bitch', 'cause clearly we all know that's not true.

Oh, and Silverchair were more Pearl Jam rip-offs with their debut Frogstomp, they've maintained throughtout the course of their career that they have never even liked Nirvana.

Daddylikes 07.17.2006 01:57 AM

And as I've said before Pearl Jam's Ten was released BEFORE Nevermind.

How did Pearl Jam copy an album released AFTER theirs?

Ya heard? Two different bands that unfortunately get massed together in one media induced mess.

Ya I heard March of Death, and it's basically RAtM without a guitar. I didn't know it was going to be a whole project, though. That was a long time ago.

Toilet & Bowels 07.17.2006 07:25 AM

Wha? There's far more Sabbath in "Bleach" than there is Stooges or Pixies.

porkmarras 07.17.2006 07:30 AM

Indeed.First band that came up to my mind when i listened to 'Bleach' was indeed Black Sabbath.

Daddylikes 07.17.2006 07:31 AM

But we aren't talking about the album "Bleach", are we?

We're referring to "Nevermind", because it is the album mentioned in this article.

God, I hate discussing things with idiots.

sonicl 07.17.2006 07:32 AM

And the Sabbath influence on Nirvana comes through The Melvins, who in turn got it through Black Flag.

Hey hey hey. What's with the insults now?I missed yer post but i thought sonicl was on the 'Bleach' case there.

Toilet & Bowels 07.17.2006 07:35 AM

well all you american idiots should fuck off, pearl jam, silverchair, bush, fugazi, even rage against the macine, mean very little in the context of music that is influential in the british mainstream.
