PHOTO REMOVED by GMKU, Available on special request only.

Trying to decide if I can make this orphaned suit coat work w/ jeans. You can't see it well in the photo, but it's a very dark navy w/ subtle pin stripes. Fit and styleis circa mid-1990s, and I don't wear the pants anymore. The coat was tailored for my size back then, and I'm not sure if it still is a tailor-fit, but considering what I paid and its good condition, I have a hard time just tossing it.

Nice jacket. Shame about....haha.

This Is Not Here 05.30.2008 07:11 AM

Tuck your shirt in you bloody hippy.

gmku 05.30.2008 07:12 AM

There's never a good reason to tuck your shirt in with jeans. I can't believe you'd even suggest such a thing.

Fact, I should probably neg rep you for that.

Ha ha, the pants, I know, I know. Terrible shame. Awful, really.

sarramkrop 05.30.2008 07:14 AM

Nope, I meant the fact that the jacket doesn't seem like it's been ironed properly. What does your wife do all day, then?

gmku 05.30.2008 07:19 AM

I've got her out selling her wares, what else.

The suit was up in a box in the attic for a while. I haven't worn it in years. There are actually two small moth-eaten holes in the shoulder that a tailor tried to disguise for me one time, but it's never looked good enough to dress up in because of that. That, and the pants are cuffed and pleated--the style back then but feeling outdated now, and not as slim cut as they make them these days.

Cantankerous 05.30.2008 07:20 AM

get rid of it.

gmku 05.30.2008 07:21 AM

Why?

Cantankerous 05.30.2008 07:22 AM

because it is outdated, moth eaten emotional baggage. there are much nicer jackets to be had.

gmku 05.30.2008 07:23 AM

Emotional baggage?

sarramkrop 05.30.2008 07:24 AM

How long did you have it for? Maybe you should go to see a doctor.

gmku 05.30.2008 07:25 AM

To have it removed?

sarramkrop 05.30.2008 07:29 AM

No, I've read somewhere that moth-eaten jackets that are worn without having been washed about 5 times 2 months after the eating took place can cause an infection under your nose. Apparently it's called ''Mothllusis H7'' and can cause you to get really scratchy eyes and legs.

gmku 05.30.2008 07:56 AM

Too funny. I'll remember that next time I feel an itch.
