If someone can re-upload the lossless version of Kraftwerk 1971-06-25 pre-FM (see also http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/sho...postcount=2013) I'd be really grateful. Thanks in advance!
Edit: is it this one? Kraftwerk-Bremen_Radio-1971.rar, 410 MB - I'm grabbing it from megaupload right now. |

The one i uploaded to Megaupload is Tom Phillips' remastered version. If i possibly have a copy of the unremastered files, they'd be only in lossy format. |
ANNA CALVI
Live de la semaine Canal + France February 11, 2011
1.92 GB Unfortunately, it cuts towards the end, right when Anna Calvi's jamming on "Love Won't Be Leaving". Still a very enjoyable Pro-shot video recording, though. I have some shows I am attending this coming month I'd like to record. I don't have a good recorder, and can't afford one anytime soon. I have used the iphone voice memo app to record several shows, and it works ok for relatively quiet shows. However, for loud kick-ass rock'n'roll and/or noise, especially played in smaller clubs, the sound gets totally blown out and is unlistenable. I have been trying to find an app for concert recording that will adjust the volume to avoid digital clipping, but not too much so the sound is totally flat. Any recomendations?

You fucking rock Hipster. Finally I heard the legendary Fecal Matter demo, and it is amazing. I always thought it'd be bad but I absolutely love it. Thanks again.

Hey Hipster, do you have any Blonde Redhead shows from the: Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons era?
|
themawt71, if i ever come across a copy of that Nels Cline show you'd want, i'd definitely post it here. At the moment, it remains unsurfaced.
You're welcome, barrett. Glad you liked that Nirvana CD. "The Chosen Rejects" is a pretty good compilation. I have to say all the merits belong to the people who put a lot of effort in taping, and the subsequent process of making it available. I just find that posting here permits some kind of interaction with like-minded individuals, and i like that. Regarding Blonde Redhead: The only recording from 2000 i have is available here both in .mp3 and .flac format (The .flac looks a bit iffy though): http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/sho...28#post1075228 There are people on this board who are more dedicated fans of this band. nicfit, neptuneg, stu666, and andrei probably have some others. I enjoy the most recent stuff they've put out. "My Plants Are Dead" off of "Penny Sparkle" is one of my favorite Blonde Redhead songs. I saw them last year and it was a fantastic show, despite the fact that Kazu Makino was a bit ill. Here's something i obtained recently: BLONDE REDHEAD France 3 Paris, France September 28, 2009

Yeah Hipster, my heart just lies with guitar indie rock, 60's garage. You're so cool. I love that you said this place to be for like minded people, as I completely agree. Thank you so much for all that you contribute.
I have to reiterate that I DL'd all four Nirvana CD's, and still, I'm absolutely blown away about the sound quality of, and how awesome the Fecal Matter demo is. |
