that's the best song to introduce myself...

My body is a past time
My mind is a simple joy
I learn my lesson
The hardest way
But you don't know me
But you don't know me
A complete inhuman
Complete inhuman
Complete inhuman
Complete inhuman

Inhuman, inhuman
Inhuman, inhuman
Inhuman

It moves around, but Radiohead and Interpol are at the very top, Sonic Youth and the Beatles are very close after, and then Muse :o

Hai. I'm Rob. I live in Auckland, NZ (recently on America's Next Top Model btw*).

I have a noobish question or two. Why do my posts keep disappearing from the "Do you play spit?" thread? And what does the row of green squares below our post count mean, and why do I have so many (for a noob)?

*Auckland, NZ, not my own personal self.

Edit: Ok think I get the row of green squares now. They seem to be intimately related to the scales. ie if someone clicks on the scales of a post of mine, and they approve of it, I get reputation points totaling some what at this stage seems to be arbitrary number, but could possibly be related either to the approvers number of reputation points, or the approvers number of posts. Most likely the approvers number of posts. Otherwise, when the forum came into being, how would anyone have gotten reputation points...

Hi, my name is Adam Cooley.

ni'k 05.22.2010 01:44 PM

hai adam welcome to the syg.

we primarily deal in fisting techniques and safety discussions.

after you make 10 posts you have access to the lounge and the rectal prolapse section and the diy rectal prolapse repair section, thats the funnest part of the board imo because we have contests to see who can use the most rusty, inapropriate or otherwise unusual implements in a home repair job.

play safe! regards, the syg team.

Hi my name is Chris, I've been here before.
I used to be young, now I'm a bit older, got some pubes and have learned to appreciate more expensive wines.

I also like to chat to hot girls online. When I don't feel like talking, jaybee.cc does it for me.

Hello Chris

I must admit, I admire your candid and personally revealing introductory style.

:)

Also hello everyone/anyone else,

I'm Dave

I've been meaning to join this site for a while, but the multitude of other social networking outlets I already belong to have somehow delayed all that. I'm glad I found the time and motivation to do it now, though.

I plan on putting in the time to read a lot of what is already here. That will take a bit of time, but I look forward to the discovery.

As for me- I do a bit of music writing, and I just wrote about the recent Sonic Youth concert in Brooklyn, New York - as well as the Hallogallo2010 show the following week.

Moshe was kind enough to post up a link to it here in the forum:

http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/showthread.php?t=40998

Alternately, these are the direct links:

http://davecromwellwrites.blogspot.com/2010/08/summer-concerts-in-new-york-music-of.html

and also here:

http://mog.com/blog_post/content/4016/2226874

The reader commentary is different at each location, so that creates another level of interest (assuming, of course, that you had any interest in the first place).

Anyway - Hello
