thanks< HBJ, I'll check this one out and then decide if I want to go see them. A couple other girl bands that I have liked were Erase/Errata, (now sadly defunkt) and still around and playing Explode into Colors

hipster_bebop_junkie 03.04.2011 03:52 PM

I enjoy both of those bands as well.

There's a short but sweet live recording of an Explode Into Colors show, available at this site, in the format of your choice:

Hope you enjoy the Warpaint radio session. I'm also currently listening to Wild Flag's song "Glass Tambourine", and i'm enjoying it. Another all-girl band that i will surely pay attention to when they actually release some official artifacts...

YES! Wild Flag is the shit! I'm not much of a YouTube kinda feller, but the live clips they have there (including the 2010-11-12 show that's still on Dime) are mighty bitchen. Also, check out their pics on MySpace - their potential logo is obviously a nod to Wire's Pink Flag:

Glad to see someone else sharing the love for this great band. Thanks for those links, The Soup Nazi.

thanks, HBJ!

Hey to all, I am looking for a copy of this Zeena Parkins set

Zeena Parkins 10/14/91 Victo Fest '91 Grande Cafe du Festival

‘Ursa’s Door’ (ZP-harp, Chris Cochrane-gtr, Margaret Parkins-cello, I Mori- elex)

my disc went bad on this, and as a ZP fan, I would deeply appreciate a copy if anyone could help me out

hipster_bebop_junkie 03.09.2011 01:13 AM

No problem.

I wish i could help you with that one, but i don't have it. If some of the collectors in this board actually own a copy, hopefully your request will be fulfilled. I wish you good luck hunting that one down, and i sure would be interested in listening to it as well.
