Haha predictably, I like plain looking les pauls - specials, jr.'s etc...can't stand fancy flame tops that look like an exotic coffee table.

Used to have a Gibson LP Double Cut, kinda wish I still had it.

Let me take that back. I've just come back with a sparkly new American Series Strat. Tried the one I got alongside the G&L (the only one they had left was a new one at £1200) and i'd be damned if I could notice £500s worth of difference. So, Fender does it again, I suppose.

I play a platinum series BC Rich Warlock with white trim. It's quite metal.
and a sunburst epiphone les paul standard which isn't as metal.

I can def. see that.....but damn, they sound so good!! At least for riding out notes.

nothing reminds me of how broke i am than guitars, makes me wish i had some spare cash and would just go out and buy one, but i can't.

in any case that i do get money, the more urgent items on my shopping list are a) a gigging amp and b) tape recorders. plus i'm really happy with my guitars, i just wish i had more, i love these pieces of crap.
