well there is some comedy going on here. the most popular stuff are series about ordinary people who get involved in all sorts of really awkward situations. tehre is one show that started all this, a kind of sketch show based on everyday life. when it was first broadcasted people thought it was real, and an american network even picked up one of their sketches and claimed it to be true...

condorito is chilean, old-school (60s? 70s?) and famous throughout latin america, it was a "popular" comic, that's still reprinted forever. they always had it at the barbershop.

yayita: "condorito, save my mother, she's drowning!"
condorito: "the year's new discovery! even killer whales suffer cramps!"

"noooo... it was no bother at all... i was just passing by here anyway..."

around the same time there was also his more intellectual counterpart, mafalda-- she was a bit of a hippie, created by an argentinian dude

1. dad: "wooohooo..."
2. mafalda: "dad, what is that? what have you brought?"
3. mafalda: is that a monument to the current international situation?

Rob Instigator 12.17.2009 01:51 PM

My socialist,, puerto rican nationalist, politically far left mom LOVES Mafalda!
she has the whole collection

she is like a political "Nancy"! ha!

personally I find the Tin Tin comix, which are huge in latin america, to be dreadfully dull.

"The Adventures of Tintin" is very popular in the UK. People here tend to group it with "Dan Dare" and "Rupert Bear". :)

Keeping It Simple 12.17.2009 03:45 PM

There's a shop in Covent Garden, London, dedicated to all things Tintin called, naturally, "The Tintin Shop".

merry fucking christmas y'all

atsonicpark 12.18.2009 12:21 AM

pictures of my old lady I took:

Satan 12.18.2009 01:17 AM

she is lovely.

what did you use to take that, i like it?

atsonicpark 12.18.2009 01:42 AM

Jazz DV152 camera... I just took a video of her smiling, then I cut out one individual frame for every 4 frames (since the video was about 100 frames). Then, I put em all together and made it black and white, and that's it :)

Glad you like.

Satan 12.18.2009 01:45 AM

shit, how is that thing for $50? and how's things with your new girl, by the way?

atsonicpark 12.18.2009 02:21 AM

Actually, I paid $27 for it. I ordered another JAZZ DV151 for my ex, but they accidentally sent me the new model. So, I kept the new model. It's really badass though. Takes 9999 pictures. Looks really fucking good, everything has sort of a weird VHS quality to it. Like it a lot.

New girl is great! She's got some hot tattoos, I should take some high quality pictures of me and her sometime. She's smaller than me, like 4'11" but has a big butt and big boobs, it's like this really voluptious girl put in a shrinky dink machine. She's also BY FAR the sweetest girl I've ever met, like making me cakes and shit. She's super talented, she plays piano and cello professionally, she's going to school to be an embalmer/mortician. Super cool girl, like super duper duper duper amazing, a brilliant artist and she has an amazing voice and she is by far, sexually, the freakiest girl I've ever been with. She'd only slept with 2 dudes before me and had never given head, and already in a month I've turned her into this insane sex addict, and she's all deep throating and talking dirty and shit, I love her!

davenotdead 12.18.2009 02:55 AM

haha, good for u adam

Satan 12.18.2009 03:18 AM

she sounds perfect for you. amazing, very glad to hear it.

atsonicpark 12.18.2009 04:16 AM

Thank you.

I'm finally happy.

Satan 12.18.2009 04:23 AM

chicka 12.18.2009 12:29 PM

chicka 12.18.2009 12:32 PM

If any of you ever visit London, and you're a huge fan of comics, you should check out "Forbidden Planet" in Shaftesbury Avenue.

DeadDiscoDildo 12.18.2009 03:23 PM

Have fun, enjoy the now, don't think of her as the one. Dangerous soup that is.

It used to be in Denmark Street. It felt more underground back then. It's a lot more commercial now. Are you a fan of comics, knox? :)

the ikara cult 12.18.2009 03:35 PM

I remember the plastic carrier bags they'd give you when it was in Denmark Street. It had artwork by Brian Bolland on it. People would give off expressions of "wtf?" when they saw it. I think some people thought it was an exclusive underground nightclub. :)

the ikara cult 12.18.2009 03:45 PM

Lets be honest, its only one step up from Games Workshop
