whilst out cycling today I saw a budgie at the side of the road, it was alive but didn't move as I went past it. I turned round and managed to catch it and put it in my ruck sack. I thought it would either get run over or starve if I left it there so I took it round to my friends house. He seemed a bit pissed of with me for taking it there and said I shoud've left it but he called his mum and she came and picked it up and is now taking care of it. It must've been a pet that escaped as it was very tame but it could still fly. Do you think it would've survived in the wild if I had left it?

i doubt it would survive, i think they're native to australia and need that climate. and it would probably get attacked by other birds like crows
