Massive 4xCD boxset of early howl by Keiji Haino, released on his own Purple Trap label in 1995. Disc 1 is a live recording of his band Lost Aaraaf from 1971. The 2nd disc is Haino on his own, collecting solo home recordings from 1969 to 1971. Disc 3 was the soundtrack to a dance piece, recorded in 1973. Finally, disc 4 is a monstrous untitled black hole by Fushitsusha.

1 - Lost Aaraaff - Concert from the Genyasai Festival 1971
2 - Keiji Haino - Suite Reverberation: The Third Heart 1969-1971
3 - Keiji Haino - Suite Reverberation: Forest of Spirits 1973
4 - Fushitsusha -Untitled

many thanks for this....does the first track of that fushitsusha disc work for you? mine is for some reason corrupted, rest of it works fine.

it plays fine for me. What might cause a problem is that the filename is fairly long, so perhaps you could try shortening it or place it in less subsubsubsubfolders

thanks for the share :-)

yeah it was winrar's fault, told me the file was corrupted, went to load it into itunes and it worked fine. really cool release, thanks again dear cunt. the fushitsusha set is particularly vile, love it.

More than the file length, the inconvenience could be caused by some problematic characters: " and ?. WinRAR automatically replaced them with underscores when I unzipped shit up.

Many thanks!

Can anyone upload the first Angel'in Heavy Syrup LP somewhere for me please. The only link that I can find is a bit dodgy.

Please confirm it's this one (apollo.rip screenshot):

If so, I'll grab it later this weekend.

It is, but I just came back to say I've found it. Thanks though.

She was one of them Teabaggers, sure enough. ("Racist", though? I think not, although those turdballs weren't exactly Black Lives Matter). You know, there's a story about a Velvet Underground show from the Factory days: Maureen was playing, turned around for a moment to watch the film that was projected behind the band, and since it was some fucked up S&M shit she just stood up, walked out and left the gig. Apparently, this caused the Factory crowd to gain more respect for her, as they concluded she was a tough fuck-this chick. :) Anyway, that shows you she always had a bit of a conservative streak... but from there to regurgitate Fox News horseshit about Obama's "socialism", yes, that's disgusting.

Having said all that, I still think she was a true artist, from her groundbreaking, endlessly imitated drumming to her lo-fi home-made recordings that capture the essence of Brill Building music's beauty (no small feat) to all-out freakout with Sonic Youth, so I stand by what I said on my previous post: BUY IT.

I was referring to all the crap she puts on her FB. The Teabagger stuff was mild in comparison.

YIKES, I didn't know about that, given that I don't do Facemook. For now I don't think I'll even go and read it, frankly. What a fall from grace... :(
