Wayne>Kanye, all day, every day.

Kanye is a just a little bitch and Wayne is too leaned most of the time to know what the hell is going on. Even though I did prefer him when you couldn't understand him "she go wobbledy, wiggedbkdgjdf, eajkdhghureg, jkghsjhjem, wit it" to the autotune.

I can't stand either. Hell, if Cher bought the rights I'd be happier than if either of them did.

Sonic Youth 37 06.26.2009 01:02 AM

Cher is too distraught that she spawned a manlady. Maybe George Lucas will buy them and get his bum boy Hayden to record duets.

terriblecanyons 06.26.2009 01:03 AM

That would seriously be amazing.

7 pages in 8 hours !!

I played my junky thrift store vinyl Off the Wall after I heard. Bye Michael Jackson!

But knowing George, he'd digitally make Michael black again in all the videos and cover art.

terriblecanyons 06.26.2009 01:05 AM

And add Jar Jar in there somewhere.

George would cream his Justice League undies at the change to re-edit the video for "Scream"

terriblecanyons 06.26.2009 01:09 AM

He'd just make it a Star Wars/Black Jacko clusterfuck and completely cut out Janet.

!@#$%! 06.26.2009 01:43 AM

Do any of you celebrity worshippers know what Barbara Walters did tonight?

I'm told she was going to have a Farrah Fawcett special but then Jacko up & died.

Did she run the Farrah show, or did she slap together a Jacko tribute?

I'm just thinking there could be high comedy in this situation, at least for those who love life's little curveballs.

DeadDiscoDildo 06.26.2009 02:23 AM

Dude, Michael Jackson is really dead

i heard some rumor that MJ left the catalogue to macca. i don't think there's any weight to that, though.

The BBC are going way over the top in their coverage with reports of Glastonbury festival goers 'in shock'. It's big deal for 'the pop world' and a few obsessive die hard fans but the idea that fields full of Radiohead fans are even remotely traumatised by the news sounds pretty unlikely to me.

hat and bread 06.26.2009 03:34 AM

Well shit. I consider myself a fan.
Young Michael Jackson was as brilliant as pop singers come.

So the Wacko one's finally ascended to Pop Heaven. "Off The Wall" and "Thriller" are great albums, and his childhood was pretty fucked up (his Dad comes across as a right monster). That doesn't excuse him for the lameness of "Earth Song" though, or his frankly creepy Peter Pan persona/obsession.

That and everything surrounding it has been the only interesting thing about him for the past twenty-five years.
