I was going to upload this one yesterday, what with the man's 70th and all, but as usual got sidetracked (shocking).
BOB DYLAN Million Miles: Live Recordings 1997-1999 (FLAC) Four-song "promo CD in a plain black cut-out sleeve given away free with purchases of Dylan albums", as searchingforagem.com describes it. Tracks extracted by yours truly from an original copy using EAC, converted to FLAC via FLAC Frontend and tagged with TagScanner (dunno if the tags will show on your player, though). High-res artwork and md5 included. This nugget is a real favorite of mine - the megatonic version of "Love Sick" alone is worth the download (and the price I paid for my copy, sho nuff). 01 - Love Sick [live "Grammy" version] Performed at Radio City Music Hall, New York, NY on Feb. 25, 1998 for the 40th Annual Grammy® Awards telecast. 02 - Can't Wait [live version] Live "Field Recording" at El Rey Theatre, Los Angeles, CA on Dec. 20, 1997. 03 - Million Miles [live version] Live "Field Recording" at Broome County Arena, Binghamton, NY on Feb. 19, 1999. 04 - Cold Irons Bound [live version] Live "Field Recording" at El Rey Theatre, Los Angeles, CA on Dec. 16, 1997. [Misdated Dec. 20 on the artwork; date correction taken from searchingforagem.com] DEMONSTRATION - NOT FOR SALE CSK 42171-S1 1999 Bob Dylan - Million Miles- Live Recordings 1997-1999.part1.rar Bob Dylan - Million Miles- Live Recordings 1997-1999.part2.rar Links will expire in a week; if anybody can give this baby a more permanent cyberplace, it'd be FABULOUS. |
THE SOFT BOYS Side Three (FLAC) 2002 seven-track CD released as a companion of sorts to Nextdoorland. Limited edition of I don't know how many (can't be too many considering how scarce it seems to be and how much sick sons of bitches ask for it on Amazon; last one I saw on eBay went for over £100). Again, audio extracted by yours truly and high-res scans included. Bitchen! The Soft Boys - Side Three.part1.rar The Soft Boys - Side Three.part2.rar "In 1978 The Soft Boys released a single called "(I Want To Be An) Anglepoise Lamp" and I thought that was so cool. Fucking Led Zeppelin never sang about wanting to be an Anglepoise lamp! I related heavy to that shit!" -Thurston |
The Soft Boys!
Thanks! |
Treading dangerously on thin ice with this one, as all of the material included here was actually later released on the (highly recommended) box-set. This is a rip, however, of the promo CD, which has been going for a bit too high a price in the recent appearances it has made on e-bay auctions.

I've been listening to a lot of stuff online recently on diverse bandcamp pages. Plenty of interesting stuff up there. At the moment, i'm listening to Tara Jane ONeil's "After A Dark Seven" which is a very nice instrumental album, long out of print or never released officially, i don't know. Here it is available in any lossy or lossless format that should satisfy anyone who might be willing to download a copy (Any fans of this lady here?):

BJÖRK
Title: "Björk" Catalog no: FA-006 Label: Fálkinn Released: December 1977 (Iceland only) Format: LP, MC Tracklist:
Note: + To the tune of "Your Kiss Is Sweet" by Stevie Wonder and Syreeta Wright. ++ Written and performed by Björk herself on flute as a tribute to an Icelandic artist. +++ To the tune of "The Fool On The Hill" by The Beatles. Recorded at the Hlíðrijinn Studios in Reykjavik, Iceland December, 1977. Björk was only 11 years old when she released this, her very first album. She was offered to make a second album slightly after this one, but turned it down. This album was only released in limited edition and is very sought-after by collectors and traders, sometimes reaching prices ranging from $100 to $700! It was never released on CD! There are bootlegs in CD format, but people often mistake them for an original release, but the original is only available in LP format. Rumors have it that they released a cassette version too, but we have no evidence. ___________ Format: .APE Download link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/dcpvtb |
Hi I am on the Avant Garde Project trip and having a wonderful time, thanks to the pointers and help received. I am surprised how much of it is intact, i will be seeding some of the rarer volumes for later AGP travellers.
The one I'm struggling with is AGP 60 Wilhelm Killmayer also the mysteriously titled track 2 "Disappearances' from AGP 16 Swedish Electroacoustic is also proving elusive, if anyone has it could they post or seed...many thanks... |

Dunno whether reqs are au fait on this thread, but I've been looking high and low for Reflexive Universe by C.C.C.C. and the Alchemy Records World Record compilation. Anyone care to help?
Why am I interested in these? The former on account of being the only recording advertised in the oh! moro vol. 5 video which I don't have; the latter because its the only part of the full Good Alchemy series I don't have. |

Pernicketiness aside: I recently got these for a friend: http://boomkat.com/cds/345395-larsen...tion-of-errors (bought) http://www.torroid.ru/torrent/88755.html (downloaded) The opening track (Tickety-Boo) of the Larsen/NWW disc is really weird, but in a good way. |

I appreciate perSnicketiness, and thank you for your links; I'll check them out. I bet those CDRs are impossible to come by unless you are hip to that dude's scene and attend some shows in country. |
