Just got this

Too bad I'm 200 miles from my amp.

king_buzzo 08.20.2008 03:46 PM

^nice. i tried out a whammy for a pitch shifter and it didnt quite get to me.

thats mostly becuse i haven't played guitar in 2 months and the shop i tried it in was all busted.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 08.22.2008 02:28 AM

I like pitch shifting. Hard effect to master, you've got to make sure you work that treadle just right or it will sound fake.

al shabbray 08.22.2008 04:18 AM

the same for ring modulating.

Sonic Youth 37 08.31.2008 01:21 AM

Just for the record, the PS3 is the shizzz. It is absolutely insane. 3 different types of modes. 1) Delay, 2)Delay+PS, 3)Dual PS. Some of the things that come out of it boggle the mind.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 09.20.2008 10:12 PM

my new board (I made it out of old Ikea bed slats the other day)

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 10.15.2008 12:05 PM

I just got a DOD FX-17 wah/volume a few weeks ago, and now I've got a subdecay prometheus coming in the mail.

[Sandbag] 10.15.2008 12:36 PM

nothing at all.. just a Korg multi-effects.
and i'm building my own pedals at the moment.

Niiice!
Wouldn't you be better off with a "diagonal" board for the upper row of pedals, though?

no for real, niiiice. but like nicfit said, hard to reach the upper board by foot I think

CHOUT 10.16.2008 10:54 PM

I've got super long legs and a huge step. I'm 6'4"

Though I am going to lower that tier when I get a pedal power 2.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 10.16.2008 11:15 PM

It changed a bit btw

I now have a DOD volume pedal and a SubDecay Prometheus filter.

The DOD volume is after my delay/looper so I can fade loops in and out instead of abruptly turning them on and off. And so I can get the mix just right.

The Subdecay Prometheus is really cool. It does a lot of cool sounds. It does pseudo-tremolo and phaser sounds, as well as weird filtery synthy sounds. Lots of fun. I'm almost thinking about making a smaller board once I get a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power with less modulation.

CHOUT 10.17.2008 11:45 PM

i heard that subdecay pedal, sounds cool...the fembot is gonna be cool too.

shentov 10.18.2008 04:18 AM

i had a Superfuzz and a Big Muff for my bass.
both of them actually got pawned for shit and then the bucks got their usual way up my cracked up veins.

i'd buy those again, though, once I get outta recovery.
all i need for my bass sound is a dredged Muff.

It's awesome, super tweakable and usable.
