Pedals: Boss DD-6 Danelectro Fab Tone MXR Compression Unit Line 6 DL-4 Electro Harmonix 16 sec Delay BOSS RV-5 MXR Blue Box Dunlop Wah Wah (which i don't ever use) Electro Harmonix Hot Tubes also (not a pedal but) Rolland SP-404 Sampler with Effects. |

I'm going to 4 different guitar stores with 130 dollars tomorrow. Wish me luck! :) |
Boss Digital Delay 3 - Russian Big Muff - Octave Fuzz - Boss Phaser

I'm getting rid of my Fuzz Factory (super cool, but I haven't used it in about 2 years), but I recently got one of these off my bandmate; sorry if I posted this before, but I just can't be bothered to dig through the whole thread to see if I did or not...
This is an early 60s tube-powered Echolette tape echo unit, German style. We just have to put in a new tape loop and it's ready to go. Super cool, plus my friend has a pristine reel of pre-polyester acetate tape that I can use for future loop replacement! ![]() |

The last stop has a Micro Synth for 125. I'm saving that stop for last though, because I want to see what the other 3 places have for offer. Well, other 2 places, because we're going to guitar center because my friend has never been. Bla IMO- they have all that line 6, digitech, and boss shit- all lifeless and sterile sounding.

That is a great deal on a Micro Synth - never seen them cheaper than $160 around here. Your story sounds similar to mine. I ended up getting a Small Clone and Phase 90, both used for $50 and $60 respectively. Glad I went to that last store, cuz I saved $50 if I would've bought them new at either of the stores I went to before there. |

ah you lucky fucker! i might get something as well today i have 70 euros and im gonna try to sell my multi effect |
i didnt get anything, i bought 2 sonic youth cds and a dvd for a christmas present... that left me with 45 euros.
|
I didn't get anything either :(
The microsynth sold before I got there. I tried out a stereo pulsar- that was a pretty cool trem, but I didn't know about it. Also tried out a stereo clone theory but it was really hissy when engaged. |
turbo rat (maybe) small stone electric mistress

US Jazzmaster? |

nah, the japanese one, i just got all the money for it :) |
don't forget to post pictures of the jazzy !!

The Jap Jazzmasters are like $1600 aren't they? I see Jazzmasters for around that in certain catalogues etc, and then see Jazzmasters in others for around $3000 or more. So I gather the latter are US Jazzmasters. I've wanted a Jazzmaster for many years now, but I think I'm going to save up and get a Jaguar or a Mustang next. Most likely Japanese. My '72 Telecaster Deluxe is one it's way to me. They're fantastic guitars and only made in Mexico. I'm really into Fenders at the moment. |
![]() My Japanese Jazz as of... last year. I should take more pictures of it. |
Nice guitar.
I haven't shared any gear porn for a while; these pics are from a camera I just got and I'm none too adept with: Amp/guitar ![]() Heads ![]() Some of the studio ![]() |

Your amp is nothing short of ridiculous.
In a good, Spinal Tap sort of way. |

It's not actually a "stack;" it's two amps stacked on top of each other. The 50 Watt one (black one) goes to the bottom cabinet; I like the mix of the two amps because the Major is super clean and the other one breaks up some. Gives extra meat to the clean sections. That 50watt rig isn't even mine; it's sort of a longterm permaloan situation with one of my friends. I'd buy it if he'd sell it to me, but I think he wants to keep it. Jumping the channels like that just enables you to use both volumes simultaneously; one for a "darker" pre-gain and one for a cleaner post-gain. |
I often wondered that too, and I still don't understand.
|
I'm not great at explaining this stuff. Sorry about that.
Basically, it enables you to use BOTH input I and input II instead of either I or II. Channel II is the "dark" channel and channel I is the "bright" channel. By jumping them I can mix the two together. |
