I don’t envy his fame. I’d rather be a print journalist with a plaque or two and no name recognition than a YouTube star. I envy his getting paid to talk about music.

I also rarely make it through a whole video. Not sure I ever actually have. Some of them are really long, and they’re just closeups of his face. Blech.

Hip Hop is at it's peak, and is already being left behind by the young kids who hear it as their dad's music. it will "die" soon enough. Nothing screams the establishment more than a Pulitzer Prize.
