Nirvana did change music. Blind Freddy could see that. Don't let personal taste cloud your judgement.

I think lists are shit FULL STOP

How exactly did Nirvana change music?

By inspiring 8,000,000 garage bands. Like it or not, they did. Why it was them, though, I can't completely understand.

Explain yourself. Are you referring to the Nirvana comment? If so, when did I ever state that I was a fan of Nirvana? Instead, put it done to giving credit where credit is due.

Wow....no shit. Are you in PA where it's brewed or do the booze Gods just love you. I think a 12 pack is about 10 bucks in Maryland....either way it's only a few cents difference. I just paid 10 bucks for a case of Icehouse 24 oz. cans which boils down to 24 shitty beers for a ten spot.

Nirvana never sounded like "a garage band".

What exactly are you talking about.

BTW, Pearl Jam's "Ten" was released BEFORE "Nevermind".

I don't mean garage as a genre, I mean people playing Smells Like Teen Spirit in their garage and calling themselves a band.

when did everyone else explain they hated nirvana?

Daddylikes 07.17.2006 01:07 AM

I'm in N.C.

I would never buy Icehouse, and I think PBR is still cheaper (especially if you get the tall boys)

when they say changed music I think they are referring to mainstream musical artists, not a couple of kids in some basement....

Why did you avoid answering the question?

Cantankerous: "That doesn't make me hate it any less."

Yeah, exactly.

I still think that Rage Against the Machine's self titled is more influential (to the mainstream...etc) than Nirvana's Nevermind.
