I want some 8 or 14 eye DMs in black, but I can't shell out the $140 for them right now. So it'll be busted out Chucks for the Dropkicks and perhaps broken toes.

No idea, but that's positively Holmes compared to some of the people the frequently find themselves around me. Tons of stupidity related injuries.

i do feel rather stupid sometimes from a bruise on my thigh resulting in walking into my doorknob. my doorknob isn't thigh-level.

I'm really bad to slam my shoulders into walls/polls/doorjambs/street signs/etc without even realizing it before the point of no return.

i used to hit my hipbone on the corner of my bathroom counter in the old house all the time. after a while the pain just didn't register.

Oh god, my hipbones are in constant peril. I've gotten to that point as well.

i never have hit them in this new house, but the old counters jutted out and, i swear, moved around just so i could get hurt.

i have a paper cut at the base of my thumb :( it's uncomfortable when i put my hands in fists when i'm not typing or anything, it's getting pulled and stings like a bitch.

I have a cut on my left thumb that is just now healing from my ring on my right hand. I forget and wore my ring with sharp edges to NIN and ended up cutting my thumb when I was being shoved around. Chalk up another scar.

that sounds really painful. yikes.

right now save for my thumb and leg i'm bruise/welt/scar-free. i no longer look like i throw myself into walls.

Other than that and few random scratches, I'm right as rain...until Sunday. haha

my friend offered to take me to conor oberst in st petersburg in a few weeks, but there's no way i can just go across the state for a night twice in a month.

The Dropkicks really is just a warm-up show for Misfits. At Dropkicks I'll just be enjoying the tunes and trying not to die. Misfits is a different thing, I'll be a singing, "wooh-ooh-ohh"ing, fist-raising horror punk being. Me and an equally Fiend-minded friend are going to, for lack of better term, acta fool at the Misfits. At it's literally less than a mile from where we are, so it'll be an all day/night/day thing.

eee, that actually sounds like tons of fun, and i've never listened to more than one misfits song.
