My next pedal is officially a pulsar. Going to get it for my bday. It's what I asked for. :D
Then I'm going to learn how to play tremelo by Mission of Burma and play it again and again and again. |
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a metal/distortion pedal that has a good "brutal" and "jun jun jun" sound. I don't know a whole lot about all the different pedals out there, so I was hoping that y'all might have better first hand knowledge about what is out there and that you could point me in the right direction.
So far I was thinking of: Digitech Death Metal Distortion (has a good sound from the samples) DOD Death Metal FX86 Boss Metal Zone Line 6 ToneCore Uber Metal (seems like it does a lot, but is it any good?) Again, I don't know much about these so if you have any suggestions about any of the above pedals or ones I didn't mention, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! |
Just got this today for a decent price...couldn't pass it up, I've always wanted a Thunderbird

I need a goddamn looper of anything fun for noise, electro, shoegaze... any advice? |
I used to have the boss PS3, never tried the PS2. It was pretty fun and had a lot of features.
|
I asked for a trem for my birthday from my sister but instead got a hamster and a habitrail. He's a pretty cool hamster.
I've got a Stereo Pulsar in my amazon cart with all my xmas shopping as well, but I gotta wait a week or so for some more money to come in to hit the buy button. |

i've also been looking for a looper. from all the ones i've looked at, this would be my personal choice. digitech pds-8000 |
I think I'm gonna order a effect pedal (first one) for christmas. I'm looking for some spacey/delay effects.
Any recommendations? |
There really isn't a pedal looper that is quite the whole package yet. All of them have their drawbacks.
Mostly in that you can't manipulate them as well with your feet. |

mostly the type of transistors used, either germanium or silicone?, op-amp or IC (Integrated cicuit design), and true by-pass switching are the major difference between the early versions of the bigmuff and today's reissues... some links: Russian Sovtek Big Muff parts-upgrade and rehousing projects Informative articles on both EH Big Muffs and Sovtek Big Muffs New and vintage Big Muffs |
